I have the similar Ecotank 2720 which is also limited to 8.5 by 11 inches, but I just go to Microsoft Publisher which is part of the Office 365 suite. Publisher allows you to tile a vector or bitmap file to very larger poster sizes. You then assemble the tiles as you have pretty much done here in Word, except Publisher does it automatically. Office 365 is an inexpensive monthly fee investment for artists like us. You’ve been creative enough with Word, so you deserve a break to use your creativity for other artwork!😊
Thank you so much for explaining this. I haven't split an image yet. I ran across this video in my quest to learn how. I love Publisher and use it regularly for my tumblers. I just tried doing what you said and it worked like a charm!!! Thank you so very much.
I can not begin to tell you how grateful I am that you made this video! For days, I have been trying to figure this out, bought different apps that were not cheap and this whole time, I could have done this with word!! i spent hours trying to figure this out, with silhouette tutorials, Canva tutorials, etc. and this was super easy and time saving!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
WOW! I was almost in tears trying to find a "let's get to it, simple, easy to follow, no small talk video", explaining how to do IT!!! THANK YOU so much! You saved me!!!
OMG! Thank you soooo much! I’m new to sublimation (3weeks) and I’ve only done one shirt but I was disappointed the image wasn’t bigger and I can’t afford to purchase another printer right now so I really appreciate this tutorial! Not many tutorials for this exact printer so bless you for sharing this helpful tip!🙌🏿💜
Oh my goodness! I could just hug you right now! I have been watching all sorts of other videos and trying to cut in various ways. You have saved my sanity! Thank you so very much!
This has been sooo helpful. I was really getting frustrated and watch so many videos on how to make image large to the point I got confused. You really made it simple and easy to follow. Thank you so much.
I love your voice you made this a very comfortable experience for me. I use to do my xl prints like this but my daddy passed away in march and I haven’t used my printer in months I ended up having to get a new one bc it seized up from not using it and I couldn’t for the life of me remember how I printed my big prints. I am so happy I came across you, I’ve been trying for nearly 5 hrs to figure this out you are a lifesaver thank you so much!
I save my sublimation paper pieces so that I don't waste all i do is tape each side of the sublimation paper onto a regular copy paper then print it doesn't jam in the printer if you tape the sides really good..love your videos...
You are a life saver! I started making shirts and tumblers to pay off medical bills and I was about to have to give up tumbler sales! Thank you so much! I actually did this in Silhouette without having to use another software.
awesome video, not only did it show me how to print a bigger image, it showed me a free program to print from. Every other video was telling me to download photoshop. Thanks
Thank you for this one. Never thought to use Word. I have the same printer you do and as long as you have a straight edge and image fits you can print on paper scraps.
This was so, so helpful!! I have a Mac, so I couldn't use Word, but I figured it out in the Pages App, by following your tutorial! I am so thankful for your page, you have really helped me learn so many new things!
Thank you so much for this video. I have watched so many and wasted so much paper and ink and you made the process simple and easy to follow. Will be watching for more of your videos. Thank you again!
Happy to help! I posted another video last weekend that shows a similar process but only using one sheet, check it out here: ua-cam.com/video/_uy1ok_22kk/v-deo.html
I save my "scraps" of sublimation paper for when I have a smaller job. I tape it to a regular sheet of paper (making sure when it prints, it will line up), and print! (just an FYI). Great video, thank you!
This was such an awesome find!!! I have been trying to figure out how to make larger pictures and wasn't sure if I could use the Word App. My tumbler of memories came out fantastic! Thank you for posting such a great tutorial. :-)
Fantastic video. It’s the first of your videos I’ve watched and you answered so many questions. Immediately subscribed! Would have NEVER thought to use Word but it makes sense. Would have loved to see how the image pressed on the shirt, I’m going to search your other videos to see if there’s a finished product. Thank you so much for such an informative easy to follow video.
Thank you so much!! This was the only video that gave me the information I need. I truly appreciate this because I need to print designs on larger shirts. I now have to re -watch your video to get the steps together. I have this same printer. If I have any questions I hope its okay to message you. Thanks again.
I do the same process for DTF in photoshop/illustrator. I select half of the image(cmd+a, using preferences, type in “/2”) then invert the selection after I saved the 1st half. I have to admit though it’s more out of necessity because overlapping does not look good on dtf. And it will I’m not sure if it applies to word but typically holding shift and dragging with the mouse will keep it aligned.
Thank you so much! This video was excellent and just what I was looking for! You made it so easy - right down to the rozzy crafts design sizes. Now, I have an idea as to what size design for the size t-shirts. Thank you thank you!
Thank you for the tutorial. I was disappointed in the size of an image I just put on a shirt for my daughter. She was too. Now I am going to have to make her another!

I'm new to sublimation. This tutorial was amazing. easy to follow and so clear and concise! thank you for sharing. I've been making pillows using my cricut with a 12x12 inch pattern. Any suggestions on how to make a design 12x12. I can't wait to get going on sublimation. So many things to create!
If you have the smaller printer you will still need to tape it together. I've heard people using the poster setting while printing but I have not tried that.
Very informative thank you I just couldn’t work out about moving the image around on the page ,I know you right click then pressed on wrap text but not sure what else thanks Bev
Thank you!!! I'm so happy I found your channel. I've learned so much from just watching a couple of videos. I've subscribed and will probably at some point binge watch everything you've put out.
Thanks so much for watching! You can sublimate on White Glitter HTV or Easysubli, which can be adhered to a dark shirt. I have a tutorial on the white glitter HTV, I’ve got it on the 2022 docket for Easysubli.
Idk if anyone told you this, but holding shift and moving the image only makes it move in one direction of the mouse! Aka going up, will make it move up only!
This is only possible if you use a lighter background such as Glitter HTV or EasySubli. I have a tutorial on Sublimating on the Glitter HTV on a black shirt.
I like the website that gives exact proportions of various tee shirts. Can you make any suggestions using microsoft word to sublimate an all over design????

I have publisher but have never used it. How do you get it to tile the picture?
Thank you so much for explaining this. I haven't split an image yet. I ran across this video in my quest to learn how. I love Publisher and use it regularly for my tumblers. I just tried doing what you said and it worked like a charm!!! Thank you so very much.
Similarly, I use Excel. Change the margins to 0 & the prints are tiled automatically. Thank you all for your suggestions!
