Thanks so much. I just released an easier method here: ua-cam.com/video/7BGYgoMecRc/v-deo.htmlsi=dhXPqBpipIQHUwLD I'd love to hear your opinion on if you like that method better.
I think it's better!!! For one, you didn't ask us to buy a template like others, you showed us how to create it. i followed along with your video. Thanks so much!
Thank you. I actually pinned the template at the top of the comments. Note that you would need to figure out how to remove the background if you don't want a white square on your tshirt. :)
This was an awesome tutorial can you just explain how you got the border. Because I see the box but not how you turned it into a border. Thank you so much.
Ty! Seems a lot easier than the other ways especially for a simple design! Can you tell me what the last orange rectangle was for? The other video thumbnails came up, so i didn’t see anything or did i miss it? 😂 and if we wanted that design for a t-shirt how would we download that so no boxes behind it? And keep all the image and text? we would download that final image as a png transparent image. In Kittl we have a clip out design toggle. Thanks!!
I actually just created a video about how to remove the box How to Remove the Box on they Not Like Us Face Behind Text ua-cam.com/video/d0jbEetm-Mo/v-deo.html
I love this. you did great teaching me. i do have a problem that i did see you had. when i put the box (purple for me) behind the works, i actually see the white part thats part of the words. i did transparent background so the words are see through, but how do you get the white part to go away. you don't have it
THANK YOU for making this soooo easy to understand. I did have 1 question and that's before you add your border how did you get the "box" around the They not like us" to disappear b4 you placed shape to cover Eagle.
What you would need to do is download the entire design, re-upload and remove the background. I'll have another video coming out soon with a slightly different method and look. Don't forget to subscribe and turn that notification bell on!
Thanks so much. Maybe this is happening when you download? If so, I would increase the size of your workspace or the size of your file when you download. You can also try this method. ua-cam.com/video/7BGYgoMecRc/v-deo.html
This was the most straightforward tutorial I have seen for this design. My only question is why I can't get rid of the white box behind my words. When I bring my words up to the design, it shows the background of my design, but it still has a white box. So when I put the outline around my words, there is also an outline for the box. I have replayed your video 5 times, and I am following it step by step, so I am confused as to what I am doing wrong. Thanks.
Crop the box so you don't see the outline around the background. I do this at 6:15. But if you crop both the text layer and the color shape. Hope this helps :) If you need more help, send your template link to me at m.me/104127636099585
Unfortunately, yes. You can try to download and re-upload the image and use bg remover but that may remove part of your design too. the other option is to just tidy up the boxes and crop them right up to the text to make them look neat and tidy. This is one of those cases where you need to decide which option is right for you.
I do dtf transfers for my t shirts and when I created my designs following her video I was able to download as a PNG without the boxes showing up. When I went to download I left the transparent background box unchecked. I uploaded the image back in Canva and created my gang sheet. I hope this helps you.
@@blgibbs2 You are absolutely right. I downloaded my file as a png and left the transparent background box unchecked and uploaded back into Canva and it worked. Thank you dear.
If you are doing this for DTF download and re-upload, then remove background. If not, use duotone to change the color of the white box to the same color as your background :)
I'm assuming you want a transparent background. If that's the case, download as a PNG then re-upload and remove background. You might need to go back into BG remover and restore any parts that were removed. Or you can follow this tutorial which is the easiest way to achieve a similar effect with a transparent background!! ua-cam.com/video/7BGYgoMecRc/v-deo.html
I download the text with background. Upload it. and Click Remove BG and it removes the actual black background as transparent and not the letters like yours. help?
Make sure that you place a black shape behind your text. It's not sufficient to download with a black background. When making the shape, make sure that it is just a little bit larger than your text box. See video at 2:32
@@lashontaerhaney-crockett7432 You can try to download and re upload to remove background. If your design contains white, like mine did, shade the background and the text layer a color opposite from your design. For the design I created, I used green #00bf63. I then downloaded as PNG (not transparent) and re-uploaded it into Canva to remove background and it worked just fine. :)
@@easyas123abctutorials How do you shade the color of the text layer to the #00bf63? Mine is now an image and I don't see that option. Ok, so I got that figured out but when I download as a png with the background and then upload it and remove the background, it is leaving some of the background in between the letters and also removes a small part of the actual image? any tips on a fix ?
Hi Yes, choose a color that is bright opposite of the main colors in your design to use as your design background and the text layer. Also to restore the parts of your image that were erased, you can go back into background remover and restore those parts if it's not too many. Other than that, I'd have to see your design to help out more. You can message me if needed m.me/104127636099585 and provide me a template link to your design.

Maybe you are still on the old Canva. Take a deep breath. The only difference is that my toolbar is floating and yours would be fixed. When you click edit, or to change the font, a panel opens up on the right side, instead of the left. Just try to follow along and go to where you would normally go to apply those settings. You can do it!
