YAY!!!! 🎉🎉🎉 Thank You Gi for sharing this Interview. 💕 I love Linda Tinah TV’s UA-cam channel too! I have been Subscribed to Linda’s channel for years. Love from Canada 🇨🇦
Thank you so much for this conversation. I'm Nigerian and had lived in Italy (Milano, Venezia and Cagliari) for over 4 years (I moved last year). The racism and microaggressions I experienced were so traumatising that I made up my mind to leave as soon as I could. Italy is a beautiful place, but there racist rhetoric is deemed as acceptable.
I am living through this and it feels especially telling with children. Italy is beautiful but it’s exhausting to exist as a non white person. I am hoping to be able to move soon
I can understand. I'm currently living in Germany with my husband. Though the cold weather here isn't for the weak but I would choose living here any day. I hope you find a place that you feel at home in.
I'm Black and I don't think people see my kids as Black. My older daughter looks Latina and I've been told that my younger daughter looks mixed White/Latino. I am ALWAYS assumed to be the caretaker/nanny. Even when they find out I'm the mom, people will attempt to separate Blackness from them. I think it depends on how the kids appear racially.

Hey love. You'll like it here too. X
So interesting the different perspectives, but I agree with G.

Also true. Can I ask where you are? Depends on that too.
