The audio problem was the same on the league pass feed. I think Sacto had problems on the floor and in the booth. I agree that their radio announcer was solid.
The thing I noticed about Bjorkgren’s coaching is that the Blazers were pathologically bad in transition defense in the first half and the Kings were so terrible in this game that Portland still cruised. Bjorkgren has been a head coach before … it’s well documented how that went.
@@LockedOnBlazers Yup, the transition defense was frightening to watch. What I don't know was whether Bjorkgren made adjustments that made their defense better in the 2nd half. My understanding was that things did not work out for him in Indiana because his personality alienated the players. It could be that after a few years of failure with a player friendly coach the team could be looking for a drill sergeant.
I would love to see Scoot do a podcast critiquing u guys at your day jobs, if u actually had one that is… He’d be like, “no, flip the burger the other way”. “He said premium unleaded, not regular unleaded”. “You’re suppose to put the cans on the bottom when bagging groceries”. That’d be pure podcast gold!
Can we all just chill tf out, though? Blazers just beat DeRozan, Fox, Sabonis by 20 points and lost by 2 against James Harden and Cell Block D. I think they're doing just fine 👍
There will be ups and downs. The focus needs to be getting the baby blazers PT together. Get the vets healthy or keep them healthy to ship them away for more pieces to the puzzle. I enjoyed both pre season games for different reasons. The fun part is watching them struggle at times and then watching what they do the next game. Again there’s ups and downs when building anything that involves human error.
"You got to make your free throws!" New regime: Every day each player has to shoot 200 hundred free throws. If you can hit100 in a row you can go home. afw
Man, Scoot is only 20 years old. Everyone so freely trashing a 20 year old NBA player is whack to me. How were you as a podcaster and reporter at 20 years old, Mike? Were you "awful, just awful" or did you not even have the skills to compete? Asking for a friend....
Seriously I think the Blazers need to hire an assistant coach like an Allen Iverson to mentor and teach Scoot how to handle his speed and to finish at the rim. Any speedy point guard as an assistant could do the job or get a veteran PG to mentor him
@@friskyfixedit honestly, I don't think he is the right fit for this team. He has even said he didn't sign up to coach a rebuilding team. I know he's not a coach but even Steve Nash would be a good fit.
@@rcnyoplait why is that a bad assumption that he would be interested in coaching? Your comment makes no sense while you're trying to make a diss at me. AI would be a perfect fit if he's interested in coaching.

I think how good Toumani is doing is being overlooked! Dude is doing incredible!
Scoot was awesome last night… so refreshing to have a legit point guard and not one who just chucks 3’s and slacks defense
But WTF are you watching 😂
@@friskyfixedit He was watching Scoot. Last night. Was pretty clear about it, too.... Scoot haters 🤣
NOBODY has more to prove than Scoot Henderson

Also, did you notice anything about Bjorkgren’s coaching. It feels like he may be a head coach in waiting.
We were all watching the same feed. There was only one and it was delightfully odd.

"Lefty loosey, righty tighty"
😂
@Duck_Disciple did you just laugh at your own comment?
@TheSublime270 No, he laughed at mine, but for some reason, it disappeared. I said, "lefty loosey, righty tighty"
Just need to remind Scoot that is a point guard, and he need to pass the ball from time to time .
7 assists and 1 turnover last night, were we watching the same thing?
Pass the ball in nba basketball? Funny!
The problem isn't his willingness to pass, it's that he keeps passing it to the wrong team😂😅
@Ricecracker06 except he didn't last game
@Ricecracker06 maaaaan, that was funny but gtfo here 🤣

OMGOODNESS..Scoot what are U doing⁉️ 🥺

Make it your first listen - EVERY DAY.
Hi, Mike! Longtime daily listener - Please help us to love Scoot, more(?).
He’s one of reasons they traded for Deni!

Hey Mike, love your podcast and long time daily listener. I sent you an email about this topic although I forgot to put a subject line.

Wonder if Chauncey might be able to coach any of our players?

Where is fernee these days?
Ankle soreness, they said. I think they're getting ready to trade him and don't want to risk an actual injury
Eating burgers to try and get above 150lbs
😂
Anfernee Simons and Jabari Walker to Utah for John Collins and Patty mills and draft picks.
I disagree I think he will be fine on offense if he does not take 3-pointers. That is not his game.
