There is a 0% chance that Deni comes off the bench. He will be 30+mpg starting SF, and when they go full tank mode there is a good chance he gets pushed to more on ball role.
And he is only 23 year old, just two years older than Sharpe, younger than Simons. Are these two really so much better and have much more potential than Deni to make the team starts them over Deni and play a three-guard starting lineup? Portland has a lot of wings, true, but beside Grant who will be traded in any time, Thybulle? he will destroy your offensive game, Camara? Kris Murray? late season legend Banton? Jabari Walker? None of them are better than Deni. Remember, they gave up their own unprotected 2029 first-round draft pick, this year 14th pick (Bub Carrington) and two second-rounds for Deni, they want to get him and develop him.
@@ZZJing_ Actually coach Billups said that Avdija was the best Blazers player in the camp. Also many of fans which were on fan-fest event said that Avdija was the best played on the floor (he also was voted "MVP" of the event)
I'm having trouble filling out the sf position this year. Would a video for good candidate for each position be on the menu some time before season starts?
Are the Pistons confident about their big 3 Duren, Tobias and Cade not to tank? Just scared of tanking teams aweful and unpredictable rotations that sometimes may not make sense.
my personal perspective is that you'd be wasting the value of both of them, especially wemby as he can nearly win you blocks on his own. I'd 1) Look at best player available 2nd round 2) Pair him with high assist and 3s guy, I'd look at LaMelo if you're brave 3) High threes punt assists (Kat, Lauri?) if you got Chet you'd all but guarantee a win in blocks every week but you can maximize your performance more with other cats targeted round 2 / getting a more rounded player
How would the rest of your draft go? You'd be hurting yourself in points likely, assists, possibly FG% since they are not the most efficient bigs FG%-wise. Free throws would probably be fine. You'd more likely want an elite guard there for assists.
You have great points regarding advija. He is a great player but not like a superstar that can surely and instantly fit in a new team. Especially on this young blazers team. Maybe in the round 12 of 14-team leagues I will consider.
Ah but Josh, you pick Chet, and then strategize picking the points guys the next 8 picks. Kuzma and Terry R are still available in round 8 or 9 for example. Personally, I don't get hung up on marginal negatives on a statistic that is variant. I pick upside with floor. You don't always hit 100% but if you do, the season is yours to win. And if you hit 60%, you still got a good chance.
Really interested to hear your thoughts on Chet… I’m in a 12 Team 8 Cat ESPN and picked Hali with my 11th and Chet with the 14th hoping I don’t regret picking Harden or KAT 🤞🏽
@@FANTASY_FEVER I'm the other guy in this video and a Chet enthusiast, but I think you can argue Harden there. Not sure I would go KAT ahead of him, but it's close. I do like the Hali-Chet pairing but you better get more scorers in the next rounds before it dries up.
I just don’t get the cade hype every year. Every year he is gonna break out! But all he does is play lazy, and is very average or gets hurt. He’s talented but doesn’t have the drive or desire to be great. He’s one of those dudes that if he scores 3 points he’s like “it’s ok man it’s just basketball”
Scoot usage 26.5% Deni usage 19.6% last season If you want to believe that Deni has more usage than Scoot, that’s your call. I’ll revisit this in a few months
Super random question Josh. What is your Zodiac sign? if you know your full astral chart please share it. Congratulations on being for me the best at this, your retirement of this would hit like Woj retirement. Take care and be blessed.
Having just drafted Cade in a couple leagues, I see this video, and my palms are sweaty already.
God im glad basketball is back

Also, Portland doesn't really have PG depth. If Simons or Scoot miss time, Deni may get backup PG minutes.

you need to do better about deni. he is much better than you think, you will see in like a month...
Is there still spaces in the LOFB bowl? Played last year and enjoyed thoroughly

Deni is the best player in Portland!!
Thoughts on a Young/Ball combo with the 1st and 2nd round???
Just drafted young/ball as well
I just drafted this team in a 8 Cat no turnover league
Josh , 9 cat with DD instead of TO. Early third round u prefer bam or alpy?
