I bought mine on sale recently without cook books for $65. First time cooked 3” tall tenderloins took a little longer than the 9 minutes they said in book but being as thick as they were I could expect it to take a little longer. Steaks were juicy with nice grill marks did not smoke up my house and easy cleanup. Will be used more in winter when it’s a pain to go out in 0 degrees weather and try to maintain temp in gas grill. Could easily use it year round indoor or out.
Got my Grill last week and used it twice. Works great....now time to clean the fan because it isn't keeping smoke smell out of the house. Followed my owners manual and also watched video on You Tube. Everything shows that I simply slide out the fan from the under side of base. Didn't work...after forcing the fan cover off with a screwdriver, I noticed there is a screw holding it in place. NOWHERE does it instruct you to remove the little screw keeping plastic secure. Consequently, I have pry marks on the bottom of the base and am afraid to clean very often because if I screw into plastic over and over it will strip the little screw hole.....perhaps I got an older version that they had to get rid of???

I spoke to Tony at 1-973-287-5108 and he said the one with the screw is the newest version and he said NOT to ever take it apart. That is why they put the screw in. Well, we will see as I have not used it yet. Also BACON? he said to cook at 390 degrees. I wonder how that will work out?
I came to YT to find and watch a video on how to RE-PACKAGE this grill so as to well you know to return it! I really wish companies would add w/ their products an UN as well as RE-packaging Instructions!!! That would be so helpful!

Someone gifted me this bc they quit using it. They are supposed to be looking for the manual and griddle plate. But I'm not sure how long it takes to heat up. And my control panel is different. It just has a power button with a digital numbers for the temp gauge and the fan button. It says it's an xl. And it doesn't appear to be heating.

so i plugged mine in and turned iit on after every single agonizing step (yes you are right about the stupid frustrating handles on the glass, they should come already assembled!) and my lights on this grill or NOT blue they are RED?? Did I do something wrong??? A temperature is already on there too like 120 or something and I have no idea where the power off and on button, well what looks like it I pressed it and it doesn't do anything!
Hi Carole Clarke, please follow the steps below on how to use the control panel. 1. Plug the Power Cord (3) into an outlet. LED Light (A) will blink on and off. 2. Select Power Button (B), and LED (A) will stay lit. 3. Select Fan Button (C). Fan will run and Fan LED (D) will light up. NOTE: Fan should be kept running throughout the grilling process to prevent grease build up. 4. Use Temperature Arrows (E) to adjust cooking temperature from 220° F to 450° F. NOTE: You may raise or lower the cooking temperature at any time during the cooking process. To keep food warm, set the temperature between 220° F and 250° F. 5. When you are finished grilling, press the Power and Fan Buttons to shut down the Unit. Unplug the Power Cord and allow unit to cool fully before disassembling for cleaning. This video explained nothing about where the smaller griddle plate goes, or how the grease from the grill surface won’t end up getting on the heating element which ISNT SUPPOSED TO GET WET. How would you clean all the grease off of it then?
