In order to explain this whole situation in great detail, a book would need to be written. You are 100% correct. Also, the USA has been planning this conflict for years. The plan was to start this war and get Europe involved so that Russia and Europe would be weakened. They're not reliable, pro Russian maps have bias, pro Ukraine has bias but when you combine them you get a better idea of what's going on. I agree that it's bad form to tell your enemy where you are going to be but you are missing that these maps have a lag of probably a week or so, they are useful for people at home to get an idea what's happening but would be useless for military use unless you wanted to attack the enemy in their locations from last week.

Usually I don't make a lot of sence after watching the video. It is too mutch, too fast. Nah, what Stoltenberg means is, NATO being supposedly "defensive" (except in Yougoslavia, Serbia, Irak, etc.), individual countries are on their own if the commit war acts towards Russia, which means that article 5 does not apply. Basically, if UK allows Storm Shadow missiles into Russia, Russia is entitled to retaliate on UK without NATO (as an organization) doing anything at all... I don't understand Finish and Norway governments. There was so much travel going on between Russia and these countries. Russian visitors traveled there even for a weekend and brought money to the budget. These countries got cheap energy from Russia. They had so much benefit. Now what...and, mainly, for what? If Zelensky honored the Minsk agreement and pledged neutrality, none of this would have happened. The 8 year civil war would have ended and Donbas would have remained part of Ukraine. War is the ultimate failure of diplomacy.
Zelensky, Poroshenko, Merkel and Hollande admitted that Ukraine had no intention to honor the Minsk agreements.
Who didn't want peace? Who advised against the 2022 peace talks in April? Hint: someone visited Zelensky in Kiev at that time

You are 100% correct. Also, the USA has been planning this conflict for years. The plan was to start this war and get Europe involved so that Russia and Europe would be weakened. How reliable are maps? Why would the armed forces reveal what is going on, except because of vanity or deliberate misinformation? Their job is to surprise after all. Bakhmut was the exception, there was a business trying HARD to self promote, often against the official forces of RF. Even UKR is fighting more on social media than any normal army, because there is no chance in h3ll that they can win on the battleground without external help.
Military Summary is the most reliable of them all.
Because he base his map on geolocations from both sides.

It's essential that "both sides" know what is going on using maps. Just common sense fella.
They're not reliable, pro Russian maps have bias, pro Ukraine has bias but when you combine them you get a better idea of what's going on. I agree that it's bad form to tell your enemy where you are going to be but you are missing that these maps have a lag of probably a week or so, they are useful for people at home to get an idea what's happening but would be useless for military use unless you wanted to attack the enemy in their locations from last week.

Usually I don't make a lot of sence after watching the video. It is too mutch, too fast. Better would be to have 2 videos every week, with all of those details, and some kind of a map before and after (every week) and gains and losses.
