I visited Lake Nona to see if it works for me, but all the restaurants I looked at were expensive I like some in the middle because I don’t eat fast food hardly ever.
Maybe that’ll change in the future
I was also disappointed in Lake Nona cause I thought it was more walkable or bikeable or the electric bus functioned with a bigger route. The electric bus only had about three loops, and one only operated starting at 4 PM. Another one only operated to the veterans hospital, so it was not really practical for people say they want to go out drinking with their friends and have a safe way going back home, or for an elderly person getting back
Also, I like walking and bicycle I saw almost no one doing that, even though they had a lot of bicycle paths

I agree for the most part, you'd have to be at specific locations within Laureate to comfortably walk to town center. Shame you didn't see a lot of people biking and walking though, see them all the time, they even have groups that do it together in the neighborhood.
Beep is still funny enough.....in its infancy, so I hope it gets better with time, as well as more price diversity in dining options. Glad you gave it a visit :)

@@OrlandowithMario Thanks for your quick reply. I’m glad you read it thoughtfully.
I actually got the idea for Lake Nona by talking to someone on the Brightline train, and then looking at UA-cam videos about it because I never heard of it before and I live north of Orlando, north central fl.
Since I had lived overseas at one time in a walkable bikeable community, I was looking for something more like that. maybe Lake Nona will change in time.
I was looking for not just groups to walk with, but people actually walking to go to the restaurant or other places or bicycling to the restaurant like I used to do in Germany

@@OrlandowithMario I could’ve also been the time that I was in Lake Nona that I didn’t see more people walking in bicycling since I happen to be there in the late morning

Baldwin Park may be your vibe! I find it to be the most walkable city in Orlando where you can actually leave your home and go eat breakfast or work out or go to the neighborhood Publix etc. I plan to do a video with that concept real soon actually

As a Lake Nona Resident, Winter Park Restaurants wins hands down, and it's not even close. 👍 Yes, Lake Nona promises to have better fine dining in the future, but promises have been made in the past, and we are still waiting. ⌛

yes, nothing better than spending time in winter park and seeing a bunch of old racist people, unruly college students from rollins doing drugs, and "mom and shop" restaurants that constantly shut down because no local wants to buy anything in it.
Lake Nona is such a better area.

Excuse me, but I believe there may have been a slight misunderstanding. The question posed was regarding the quality of food options in a specific area, not the overall desirability of the location as a place to reside.
While I genuinely appreciate my current residence in Lake Nona, I must acknowledge that the dining options here leave much to be desired. It appears that fast food establishments significantly outnumber fine dining restaurants in this area, and I present this observation as a factual statement.

Winter park will always be untouched and pleasant to be in because they have old money there. Lake Nona used to be nice years ago but it’s gone downhill fast. I call it Lake NoNo. lol
