Working on tasks in the summer months! Our veranda has work that needs completing on it - a fairly small job to be finished but one that has made a massive difference. We also visit another lovely praia fluvial (river beach) to cool off, as well as Theo making big changes to the goat enclosure.

Theo and Bee gave up their busy city lifestyles in 2014 to explore alternative living, and have lived in vans and boats since then without looking back! Along with their cat Ginjey Bear they have been driving around the world in their self converted Sprinter van. However, when the global pandemic hit they began converting their abandoned stone barn in Central Portugal to turn into a wonderful tiny stone cottage. Along the way, they have rescued a playful cat called Furrnando and have a wonderful flock of Chickens!

Who ever came up with the idea of making these swimming pools with river water was brillant. Wonderful for so many in these towns years ago and now. Thanks for sharing this part of Portugal. Never knew these existed. 👙🩳🏊🏽♀🏊🏻
Looking at your goats, I just had the idea that maybe you could get a small donkey, in case a predator should try to attack them. Or just as a pet, lol.

The Olympic Rain Forest here in Washington is beautiful this time of year. The weather is usually warm and there is so much to see. Mountains, ocean, and huge trees!!!

Glacier National Park, Going to the Sun road, absolutely beautiful majestic scenery and this time of year you should see wildlife. And also Yellowstone National park, lots of wildlife there.
Well just cuz it's green doesn't mean it's dirty. It also has to do with the bottom and with reflected light. I just love that Portugal has all those free river beaches, it's so cool. They don't have those in Spain, although most towns and villages have public swimming pools. They're quite the social setting too come summer.

Love the series and have watched it for the last year or so, however, it has started turning into the Theo show. whilst its lovely to continue see Theo undertake his tasks, the magic of the show is both Bea and Theo in Portugal.

I would like to suggest that you see the Olympic National Forest in Washington state. I live in Port Angeles and the scenery here is just beautiful. Our little town has some lovely shops along with farmers market on Saturdays. I think you would really enjoy seeing the sights! I hope you have a wonderful journey! ❤🙏❤

We live in Southern Oregon....Places to visit: Crater Lake, Raft the Rogue River, Fishing for Steelhead, Many wineries (Del Rio Vineyards on the Rogue River) Redwoods on the way to Pacific Ocean, Crater Rock Museum, Ashland (Shakespeard Festival) and Jacksonville Historic (Cute little towns). Hope you enjoy
I recommend the Banff-Jasper Highway, Lake Louise, Radium Hot Springs. Fairmont Hot Springs are also nice.

The Coastal Beaches of Oregon fly a kite and go beach combing. The Japanese garden and rose garden in Portland. Glacier national park in Montana. I enjoyed a dune buggy ride at the sand dunes on the oregon coast. See if you can visit some of the floating houses in vancouver or seattle. Montana does have some hot springs also.
For fantastic lakes, rivers and mountains consider visiting the West Kootenay/Boundary area and the Okanagan area of southeastern BC. I think you’d love the variety of smaller communities in both areas too (ex Nelson). Hope you both have a wonderful time wherever your travels take you! 💛🇨🇦🍁

Love your videos but miss seeing more of Bea. By the way Bea your garden is stunning. Can hardly believe you are a newer gardener. Been growing a garden since I was a kid with my family ( just turned 60) and by all means not an expert I appreciate when someone puts that much love and effort into growing their own.
And about your vacation. There is a huge beautiful national park near Kallespell, Montana called Glacier National Park. It is stunning. There are several other large parks in the area also. Just adding some ideas to your travel list. Best too you both. From Wisconsin, USA

Hope BC is an amazing little town and lake and alpine mountains. The rockies are breath taking. Lake Louise is as well.

Glacier National Park in Montana, go to Logan Pass to see mountain goats; Banff National Park in Alberta, hike around Lake Louise; and Jasper National Park, hike to Moose Lake where you WILL see moose!!! And, if you’re heading all the way west, take a boat tout off Vancouver Island to see Orca “killer” whales and DO NOT skip Butchart Gardens, also on Vancouver Island - the most beautiful flower gardens in the world! My husband and I did all of this in August 2021 - oh, you are about to have the trip of your life! So happy for you!!!😊

Portland Oregon has become a very dirty city. Homelessness has caused a rise in sidewalk camps as they move into neighborhoods with their tents and motor homes. Please be watchful.
I visited Canada in 2003. We went to Vancouver then went on the ferri to Vancouver Island. We travelled across the Island and stopped off at a place that was full of the most gigantic trees, we had ever seen. its not a very big island but so much to see, worth a look.

I think a few videos back Theo mentioned the water heater was the delay on getting the kitchen underway. Maybe when they return from their holiday break they'll get started on it 🤔

When in BC, try ski lift to Mtn. top of Whistler, great Mtn bike runs beautiful scenery. Then Tofino and Uclulet on Vancouver Island, for swimming, surfing, then down to Victoria. Also Capilano Suspension bridge in North Vancouver. All the Best while you are over here.

Go to wyoming and see yellowstone national park. See old faithful. Geisers are great. They have bears, bison and anything else you want to see. Take 2 days you won't be sorry. Hot springs etc. But waters 250 plus degrees. They have boardwalks. There are some pools around. Call as soon as you can to park overnight.

In Montana pls see Kalispell, Whitefish, Flathead Lake, Polson, Missoula. Much more to see but not sure how much time you guys have. Myself, I lived and studied at Montana State Uni. I am probably the only Portuguese in mainland PT that has, (some Portuguese do live there! 😱) and I can tell you those areas are amazingly beautiful. Have a great trip. 😘❤️🇵🇹❤️

During the time these were filmed Theo did the bulk of the on camera work for a bit.You can hear her speaking off camera though. Right now while they are in Canada, she's making mini videos & showing photos of things they see. No matter how much we love them, time off now & then is necessary.

So excited you are coming to Oregon.
1. So sad to tell you, even though it is my home city, stay away from Portland, Oregon. Unfortunately, it has gone to hell in a handbasket.
2. Do drive the Columbia River Gorge if you are able. Stop in Hood River and get ice cream 🍦 at Mike's on Oak Street. I used to drive from Portland on a Friday afternoon just to get an ice cream. Then check out Multnomah Falls. One of Oregon's top attractions.
3. The Oregon coast is spectacular Canon Beach to Tillamook then Three Capes has some beautiful stretches of beach. Finally, Lincoln City on south to Florence has the rocky coast and plenty of beautiful camping.
4. From Florence you can either swing inland or keep going south on 101. If you get to Bandon there is a lovely wildlife area on the beach with beautiful rock formations as well as many birds sea critters.
5. If you find your way onto I-5 and Roseburg a swing up to Crater Lake would be worth your time as well. I am new to this area and it is on my adventure list.

In Montana take the Going to the Sun road over Logan Pass.
We just came home from 2 weeks @ Waterton National Park, Alberta. Where the prairies meet the mountains. While we couldn’t get camping reservations in the park, we stayed at Crooked creek campground about 15 minutes from park. Not sure how pricey B & B or hotels r in the Park. Took 1 1/2 hour boat tour on Upper Waterton Lake which ends up in U.S., See Cameron Lake (2 trails there), Red Rock Canyon (Blackiston Falls trail). Bertha Falls trail. Weekends busy but in August it slows down. Had wonderful High Tea at Prince of Wales (reservations needed - business casual) with best scenery of mountains. Waterton Wieners is very tasty (featured on Amazing Race Canada). Area of Banff & Kananaskis is beautiful. Check out slow n easy or tougher white water rafting. Total blast! The bus ride to get there made me somewhat queasy. Road to the Sun was closed. Glacier National Park in U.S. gorgeous. Enjoy trip 🇨🇦❤️

It may be too late since you're already there, but if you like books, you MUST not miss Powell's books in Portland Oregon. Best book store in the world.

I live in Niagara and this area is extraordinary. We are right in Wine Country and close to Niagara Falls and also close to the US border. If you can try and come this way. You won't be disappointed.
I agree, I was just there and it’s a beautiful area.
Lots to see and do in the Pacific Northwest! Must do for Portland - the food trucks! They have all sorts of different types of food including vegetarian and are delicious! Also try VooDoo Donuts - yummy ! Definitely drive the Columbia River Gorge, see the SIX beautiful waterfalls (LaTourell, Shepperds Dell, Bridal Veil - the most famous - Wahkeena , Multnomah, and Horsetail). You could follow along the Lewis and Clark Trail to Fort Lewis in Astoria. The Oregon Coast is GORGEOUS. If driving up through Washington, there is gorgeous scenery to be had there too! Mt. St. Helens, Mt Rainier. Lots of little mountain towns. The Cowlitz River is good for swimming above the Toutle River (only in some spots, be careful of undertows and lots of fish hooks!) There is the Olympic Rain Forest you can visit on your way to Port Angeles to catch the ferry to Vancouver Island. The San Juan Islands are picturesque and charming and quiet. I do not recommend Seattle at all - not really the safest place.
Just did the greater portion of the Hot Springs Circle route in BC. Highly recommend. Be warned, things begin to close towards the end of September. Can give details if you’re interested.
If you do a Rv in the rockies you must get a riverside pitch at Ramparts creek campground. Every pitch has a fire pit and there are unlimited logs. Stunning at dusk along side the river.
In Montana, check out Yellowstone National Park, Glacier National Park, I like Bozeman, Red Lodge is cool, Virginia City if you want to see historical stuff. What are you interested in seeing? Will you be going through Idaho?
Don't for get Vancouver island. We are the capital city Victoria ,also up island to famous Tofino , with longbeach perfect to surf or just injoying the large long sandybeach. A d on your way to get to Tofino, there is Cooms a market area that has goats on the roof. Happy travels
Fort Defiance and Zoo in Tacoma , Washington. Sawtooth Mountains in Stanley, Idaho along the Salmon River. Salmon, Idaho -Sacajawea Museum. Lapwaye, ,Idaho. Nez Perce Museum and the Whitman Mission. Battle of the Little Big Horn or Custer’s Last Stand. Crow Reservation, Montana. Northern Plains Indians led by Chief Sitting Bull in the battle against Custer.
I really respect and admire Theo, for all the hard work, skill and dedication he invested into this farm. Kudos to him.

Look up Crater Lake in Oregon. Deepest lake in the US. Beautiful area!
There is a Crater lake in northern Manitoba too. Made from a massive falling crater- way back. Its beautiful ! Good fishing too!
