Yes some one who left and came back to Portugal. Love a full circle. I keep saying i was born in the wrong country. The old places are so full of heart. The history the families. Beautiful
It's great to have your son helping you. I remember helping my dad earlier in my life, it was not easy but these moments create some good memories for both of you.
Great to see you bringing the property back to life Joaquim. That stove is fantastic and the mini pears were quite intriguing. You obviously have the incentive and dedication for the work ahead of you. I look forward to seeing further videos from you as work progresses.
It’s so lovely hearing your cherished childhood memories of the property, do you have any photos of the property when your grandparents were still alive? It would be fantastic to see the past and present. Very many thanks for sharing your incredible journey & memories with us. With best wishes to you and your loved ones. From Aberdeenshire Scotland 🤗🌟
Eu não consigo imaginar como vai ficar a casa. Estou ansiosa e acompanhando todos os detalhes. Não perco um vídeo sequer. Parabéns, daqui de Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais/BRASIL
I was thinking of that, channeling the water away from the road way. I think you got 2 hours of gym time, just moving those big stones. Hopefully, your tent ⛺️ will be up and ready for winter. God bless you both 🙏 ❤️ 🙌.
I love the idea of putting the stove to work while you are rebuilding. It will keep the shop warm and you can have hot soup whenever you want it. Your son being worried about your back and you of his is heart warming. You really do need to get that tent finished soon so you can work out any problems before winter sets in. Have a great week!
Seeing your workshop made me a little homesick. I had maybe 80k worth of tools and 3 Snap on boxes that stored them and after being a composite mechanic for years I decided that it was enough and sold everything and moved to Thailand. The shipping costs then were astronomical but what is the cost of homesickness? lol it is all good I have a few tools and I do without when I do not have. This is an amazing journey and I am honored that you allow me to follow along and be melancholy vicariously through you, sir. :)
Hi Joaqim, I'm new to the channel. I'm enjoying watching the progress of rebuild of your family home. A transformação tem sido incrível até agora! Muitas felicidades de Vancouver, Colúmbia Britânica Cheers Melinda
Love to see and hear how you are thinking in future..you must have a vision how it will be. I would like to know : comes it like you dreamed? Or is it different? Anyway you are doing it so well 👍congratulations 🩵🙏🏿
Great progress. We are sort of your neighbors as we live just south of Cerveira. We’ve been here for a few months now and wondering if you can share ideas of what to plant in the fall around here. We appreciate the videos!! Perhaps we can meet at the Saturday market sometime.
25:01mins Mk 1 Lotus Cortina leading a Ford Galaxie 500 ? got to be somewhere like Snetterton or Mallory Park in England . Did you see any of the racing from Goodwood this year, it was fantastic !!
I'm sure this is going to be beautiful when your done, can't really hear you when your a distance from your phone/camera? Is it possible to get a portable mic to wear? Looking forward to your videos!
For the last ten years I started and operated a small scale, biodiverse, organic farm. For the previous 25 years I started and operated a business in the automotive sector. With food production, and culinary random gigs throughout most of my productive life.
It's amazingly good idea to put solar panels on top of electric vehicle. There are many grid wires in background on your videos. Why stay off-grid without backup? There must be some economical reason?
Great question, I believe that staying off the grid is a good backup. It’s purely wanting to be independent and responsible for the energy production that the homestead will require in order to be productive and sustainable. In many ways as it was in its last iteration, when my grandparents lived here.

Hello Joaquim, I have only recently found your Chanel , and am enjoying watching. The Draw hoe you use is it a special make? As I am thinking about getting one, thanks.

It was nice to catch up with your videos - you're doing a fantastic job with your property 😀
I love your “patient” voice with your son. It made me laugh. Our boys are so “gung-ho” as they do not have the experience or patience, bless them.
& bless the boys who do help us & are equally patient with their parents too 😅❤
@@ambykp8940 most definitely!

Yes, there’s an opportunity there.

I wouldn't take those steps out Joaquim. Isn't less work to just cover them?
He wants to use the old stone to build more steps to make the new steps more cohesive to the rest of the house.
