Just one question out of morbid curiosity. If the was enough unimpeded wall space on the opposite side would goin with a barn door have been a better solution? I know it's off subject but I want to add something. I have been watching Ken Burns US and The Holocaust. I thought I knew alot about the Holocaust but his film is full of information I had never heard or been aware of. I suggest that everyone check it out. It's incredible.
Why not opt for a pocket door ?
