I'm so pleased you love it!
Hi Chandi. This is such a beautiful pattern! I love the way she does the beginning treble/triple crochet! It looks so pretty! Love your beads!😊. Thank you for another lovely pattern and tutorial. Have a wonderful weekend!💞

Wonderful. Hope you enjoy it! 💕
Thank you so much for this pattern I can't wait to download it. I love this yarn and I think I have some left. This pattern will be on my next to-do shawl pattern and I will be adding the beads.
Wonderful! 💕
This is such a lovely shawl! I want to stop the Mysa, Mantlemist and Embers to make this!!!
Alas, I shouldn't. I want to finish them all so I can make some tops! Flowers win my heart every time. I have more flower stamps, dies, and papers then any other image and this shawl is a priority for my wardrobe. Thank you Janet and Chandi, for another beautiful pattern and a video! You make my week! I can still hear you saying, "Oh yes, it has beads" from the Mysa video!
I'm so happy you love this one, too!
@@ExpressionFiberArts I love just about 99% of your patterns. I've downloaded quite a few of them. Still waiting on the sock yarn!
Hello Chandi! It's a lovely shawl! Thank you very much!
You are welcome 😊
Chandi You bring joy to so many people. I tried to partake in it. I'm so messed up just troubleshooting that I have been unable to start your most lively MCAL that I so wanted to join. Unless I move out of this apartment to a small plot of my own, complex rules & inefficient building structure here r making me lose sleep. I'll try to catch up with you later. 💖
I'm so sorry to hear that. Glad you'd like to start the MCAL. You can always join later. 💕

Chandi, thank you for the tutorial/presentation 💞Thanks for your delicat touch which makes the pattern éven mire lovely 🌹
Sorry for the typos 🙃dual language mobil phone 🙂
My pleasure 😊 And no worries at all. Happy you like it. 💕
Hi Chandi, another beautiful pattern . Thanks for sharing love
You are so welcome! 💕
Beautiful. Seems a little tricky, but with your instructions I’m sure I can pull this off. Will definitely have to wait for cooler weather though, to warm at the moment to hold yarn. 35c and no air. 😓🙏Blessings
I hope you enjoy making it, and I'm sure you'll do just fine!
Love this shawl! It's so beautiful 😍
Thank you! 😊
I have hundreds of beads from a previous hobby, this will be my next project after "Embers".
Thank you for your inspiration in every video, such a generous 💖
You are so welcome! Have fun making yours!
This definitely makes me want to start crocheting …great pattern. 😁
Beautiful shawl! Thank you for sharing.
Thank you! 😊 My pleasure.
This will be my must try super soon!😍 thank you so much 💓
You’re welcome 😊 Have fun with it!
I didn’t even make it halfway through the video before downloading the pattern. The I continued watching and now I can’t decide if I like the beads or not. Either way, I can’t wait to try this pattern once I finish up at least one of my other WIPs.
With beads or without, I hope you enjoy making one!
Oral B Super Floss works great when putting beads on knitting or crochet. It has a stiff end that can bend to put through loop and it can also hold multiple beads. Wotks well when you can’t find small crochet hook too!! Easier than using crochet hook too!!
Yes, those do work well, too!
Absolutely stunning.
Thank you so much!
This is so beautiful!! Thank you for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
Amazing!!! Thank you. I love it so much.

Absolutely gorgeous! You are as cute as a button. Love your patterns. I will definitely be trying this one. ❤️😊
Thank you! 😊
This is so beautiful ❤️
Thank you so much!
Esses fios de lã são lindos, parecem ser tão macios ❤
Yes, they are indeed! 💕
Beautiful pattern
Thanks! Glad you like it. 💕
Love this shawl, just what I’m looking for but your sample is curving in on the sides but the video doesn’t look like it’s curves in looks very straight edge? Just wondering why, will it straighten up as it grows?
This shawl is a very subtle crescent shape, not a rectangle, so if your version is curving slightly, that's how it should look.
Stunning shawl thank you Chandi and Janet 🙋🏻♀️💖💐🌸
You are so welcome. 💕
Beautiful work
Thank you so much 😀
So femenine shawl florescence .I❤️ It
It really is! Thanks!
How pretty
Thanks! 💕
Thank you! I love this ❤
❤️Wow! Love This❤️
💜💜💜
Beautiful ❤️
Thank you! 😊
This is really interesting. I come from a beading background and would have thought that last row would have been done very differently. Have you ever just strung the beads onto the yarn and moved them into place as you need them instead of all the single crochet’s to put them into place?
You can do that on some designs, but with this one, pre-stringing beads won't create quite the same effect. Also, we generally advise against pre-stringing beads on our yarns, as the constant friction of moving the beads along the strand can damage the yarn.
@@ExpressionFiberArts Wow thanks for the super fast and useful answer.
Muy bonito gracias Saludos
Beautiful 😍

Beautiful pattern, so do I have to repite number 4 and 5? Thanks
Yes, that's correct. Repeat Rows 4 and 5 for a total of 57 rows.
Enjoy! 💕
Süpersiniz yaaa çok teşekkür ederim
Thank you so much!
Very simple pattern but in a way it's also very complicated. Easy stitches, just difficult to put together, maybe it's the thin yarn I'm using. That first beg treble is one I hate. :)
Bellissimo !😍
Thank you so much!
Ciao Nevia, scusa se ti disturbo. Guardando le istruzioni io non ho capito quante volte devo ripetere le righe 1 e 2. Non capisco come sviluppare la lunghezza...
@@ilariacampolucci7460 ciao Ilaria oggi mi rivedo il video e poi ti so dire ! Buona giornata a te !
@@neviabizzaro6505 grazie di cuore. Sei gentilissima
Ciao e buona domenica !
This is beautiful. How many yds did you use?
Thank you!. This one uses just under 1000 yards. You can find all of the pattern details in the pattern PDF. Download it at www.expressionfiberarts.com/products/florescence.html
The pattern uses two skeins for the 16.5 by 84 size. At that gauge, how many rows are we getting? I want to make it bigger. Maybe 22 or 24 for depth for my height.
If you download the pattern from the link in the description box, you'll see how many rows were crocheted to make this sample, and then you can customize it to your preferred size.
Would it be possible to make this shawl with lace weight yarn? I have some Lucius alpaca silk yarn that I would love to use for this.
Absolutely! And I think it would be gorgeous and ethereal. Just make a little swatch of the stitch pattern to make sure you like how it looks.
What kind of needles do you recommend
I am needing new needles and don’t know which to choose
Thank you
Hi Katayoun, thank you for your message. This pattern is crocheted so you'll need crochet hooks for it. I like the Susan Bates crochet hooks because of their short necks.
I hope this is helpful!. Have a great weekend. 💕
Wonderful...but how many times have I to repeat row 2 and 3? Thank you
Hi Ilaria, thank you for your comment. Please, see the full pattern for the complete instructions on our website here: www.expressionfiberarts.com/products/florescence.html
The pattern is currently available for free download. Rows 4-5 will be repeated for a total of 57 rows. I hope this helps. Enjoy! 💕
@@ExpressionFiberArts
I have the pattern....and I have seen the video. I did not understand how many times I have to repeat row 2 and 3...to create the lenght. Anyway I will try. Thanks
@@ExpressionFiberArts DONE!!!! It is very easy! It grows very fast. It is very relaxing...I was confused at the very beginning but then I see how it develops row by row...thanks!
I have started this project and am finding that the curve of the top edge is getting stronger as I go along. I've pulled out 5 rows to start again. You can see this curve starting at the 10:18 mark. This seems to me to be making the bottom quite wavy. Has anyone else started this shawl and is having the same problem? Thinking of doing two rows of #5 increase then one row #4 increase. This may make the shawl deeper and not as long but less curve. Thoughts? Comments?
Hi Teresa, thank you for your comment.
Once you block your shawl the curve will be less prominent but if you don't like it this way your suggestion can work as well. You should do what you like the best. Enjoy making Florescence.
Have a lovely weekend! 💕
Is it supposed to be sort of wobbly in the ends/top at the start or am I doing something wrong… hope it will look better after blocking
Blocking will definitely straighten it out. 💙
I am having trouble with the number of increases.. 4 on one row and 2 on the next. Each end of the work is meeting as I work. What have I done wrong?
Hi there, thank you for your message. I'll try to help.
What is meant in the pattern is that the stitches are increased by 4, meaning you're adding two ch-1 spaces and two ch-3 spaces in those rows. I hope this makes sense. If you still. have trouble with it, please don't hesitate to reach out to us via the contact form at www.expressionfiberarts.com/contact-us/
Have a nice day! 💕
@@ExpressionFiberArts Thank you for your help.
I am following the pattern but my shape is going like 2/3 incomplete oval
Hi Neha, please reach out to us via the contact form at www.expressionfiberarts.com/contact-us/ so we can help you with your issue. Thanks! 💕
Is there a written pattern available? Your tutorials are nice but too fast. Beautiful shawl.
Yes, you'll always find the link to the full pattern in the description box for the video. Just make sure to expand it to see the full description.
@@ExpressionFiberArts Found it, thank you.
Hello! What kind of yarn u using. The name of it
Hi Linda, the yarn used in this sample is Pearlescent Fingering in the color Reverie. Here is the link to it: www.expressionfiberarts.com/products/reverie-pearlescent-fingering.html
Enjoy! 💜
Trying to find how to download the pattern. No luck. Website wants to charge when video says free.
Our patterns are free for a limited time, about 4 weeks after they're released, so this one is no longer free to download. We release new knit and crochet patterns nearly every Friday, so if you want to make sure to never miss one, sign up to our email list at www.expressionfiberarts.com/
It's the best way to always know when a new pattern is available.
Ciao è bellissimo ma non capisco ce lo schema
I'm so sorry about that. Unfortunately, we don't offer out patterns or tutorials in other languages. Have tried this trick for youtube:
Turn on closed captions, and click on the Settings (the gear icon). Choose Subtitles/CC and to the right of that there is a language option. Use that to select Auto-Translate, and then choose Italian. UA-cam will automatically translate the closed captions for you.
I hope this helps! 💕
