Actually stopped an followed a pattern.Your teaching is very good to follow an your voice an accent is peaceful. The pattern I picked was Joyful Josie.I'd been looking for a rounded bottom shawl for awhile.Yours is exactly what I wanted.Thank You
I love everything about this beautiful shawl Wilma. Your yarn choice is exactly what I would wear. You made a simple stich look so very lovely. Thank you.
Either one is gorgeous, this color is also very pretty and elegant. Thanks. I love the way you explain your tutorials, very clear and easy. God bless you.
Beautiful,I used a stitch marker for each section so I would not lose my spot and kept moving my stitch marker up which I highly suggest ...Almost finished with mine, works up so fast a great 1 day project
Hello Wilma, I purchased your "To the Point Shawl" from your Esty shop. I am so happy how this shawl is turning out!!! Thank you for such a beautiful shawl; it's so easy with your pattern. I also found Beautiful Yarn on-line at Mary Maxum, and the bonus is that it is the same shade that you made your shawl with. Hugs and smiles from Claudia in Venetia, PA, USA
well Wilma ive finally finished this shawl..and it is gorgeous..i used a ferris wheel to do it..and its just wonderful i have another almost done as well..i was working on both at the same time..kinda getting ahead on one..and backing up the other..so they would be done around the same time..lol..ive got so many things started..but they are one by one being finished..and this is the first one..hoping to put up a video on it..its just great and i thank you for this tutorial..it was very easy to follow and i just really enjoyed doing this one..thanks again..and take care
Thankyou so much Wilma. I love Simple Shawls. I've made 8 of Fiber Spiders Brenna Shawls with the new malabrigo yarn. It's simple but shows the yarn off perfectly. However ,I love this pattern, and the border can be done in a different colour. I like shallow shawls too ,then on top of this HDC is my favourite stitch. I have some more malabrigo still, and this pattern is what I'm going to do, It will show the yarn off beautifully. Many thanks Amanda xx 😊💕
Excellent tutorial! The pattern is beautiful - I just finished mine (I used Lion Brand beautiful you in cayenne). I also bought the printable pattern which is very well written and has a row chart that made crocheting this shawl a joyful experience.
Just what I’m looking for, but for my 6 year old. Wondering how many rows before I stop increasing for a child size. Looking forward to making this is beige and adding the border in a beige with gold for her!
Thank you Wilma . I've just completed this shawl in quite a bright red n it looks cute. I was wondering if it's possible to make this shawl longer in height. Do you have any suggestions please. Thank you
I have this one yarn and I only have 360 yards of it, it’s a worsted weight yarn...... would that be enough to make this beautiful piece? Wilma, everything you make is so pretty and well thought out. I want to make everything hahaha, thank you for taking the time to make these patterns as videos, and making them available to all of us. Thank you ❤️❤️❤️
I like working with the yarn and the pattern stitch which is not difficult. My problem is that after I completed the 91 rows before you begin decreasing the shawl was not as large as it should be. I crochet loosely and usually don't have a problem. It would help if you could give the height before the border is added. And then state how much the border will add to the height. Thanks.
Very beautiful and I love the yarn. I was waiting for another pattern,I’ve made 5 of your double crochet shawls 2 for myself and the others as gifts. I hope your still enjoying being married ❤️ your wedding video was so beautiful and your dress was stunning. Your extremely talented beautiful and a very kind and compassionate lady 😘😘
I love this shawl! I definitely will be making it. I think there is something so beautiful about simplicity. I looked up that yarn and it comes in some great colors. Now to pick one...lol!
Hi. Is the decrease supposed to be in the same side we would do the increase. Idk. I’m just going row after row after row and count 94 row every row? I was never good with row counts. Except in tge found amigurumi it’s easy or Sc Or DC. But HDc forget it. Omg. And I did BLO because I-didn’t really care for the look with just HDC only my opinion. I do t get it. If I can figure out which side the decrease or 2tog supposed to be. It will be ok. Thanks.
Im a bit confused, i bought the oattern & it says all sc but yet ur doing hdc, which is it meant to be? 🙂 Also, if i was to add extra plain rows (with noe inc/dec) would that make it longer?
- It’s a very beutiful pattern and I love the yarn! I live in Sweden so I’m not sure I can get this yarn but I hope that I can. Thank You for this video!

Oh I’d love to see that!
Beautiful,I used a stitch marker for each section so I would not lose my spot and kept moving my stitch marker up which I highly suggest ...Almost finished with mine, works up so fast a great 1 day project
