@Dredd King 99% of depression is because of circumstance. Ask yourself this: "Would I feel like this if I was living my dream, sitting on the beach in the sunshine and free to do whatever I want?" Rorisang In this video he literally tells Brendan that when he spoke to Conor about that, Conor said that he was actually right. Edit: also on JRE a while ago, Kavanagh said that that was actually their plan going into the fight too.
It's a very bland definition. For one, it's a very ignorant statement, if he meant it literally, which I believe he did. Joe Rogan: if u had a stand up how well do u think u'd do?
Brendan: Like straight stand-up comedy I think people'd be surprised.
Joe: Really? I think u'd be surprised.
Did they really have to wait 37 minutes for that food 😂😂😂
I was thinking the same thing.....😂
Well Brendan practically ordered the entire menu. So Yes.😁
No they probably did some of the interview before they ordered. Just how it’s edited
One of the best attitudes ever!
6:10, cte? It was the 4th.
That part killed me. And cte#2 Shaub couldn't hop in to correct
I think he meant 2nd round is when khabib was unloading.
@@lexetordo8954 meant and said are different ..
Lex et Ordo okay Dom.
IF he hadn't cheated it would have been in the 2nd
13:53 lmao as soon as cejudo is brought up dom roasts him
"Lemme also get a Junior Whopper with that?"-Dominick Cruz
This man needs his own podcast. Like now
Agreed
Dom blessing with some self development knowledge 🙏
I loved that part. Also needed to hear it.
" depression is a selfish emotion", thank you dom, great lesson
"We have a lot more that we have to give than we ever have lost" - Dominick Cruz, 2020
One of the best lines I have ever heard ANYONE say. That's something that many, MANY people need to meditate on.
OG Gaming Shut the fuck up....sincerely
Brendan won me over with him sharing the gig with Cruz
People may hate but the Brendan is doing his thing regardless.
Matt Morrison So deep
The Brendan is living proof that it's not what you know but who you know.
@@bigvanvader3122 Just knowing someone is not enough, building relationships is a skill and Brendan is pretty good at it, clearly.
@@Lynxchillin08 Balls. Lol
Schaub: For me you know, I've never been at your level, I've never been considered the best, like for you considered one of the best 135 pounders of all time, I've never been considered that.
Dom: Noone will argue that.
19:45 Dom explains what people don't understand
That really was on point it was a great analysis of a psychological space. "Depression is a selfish emotion"
Robert Axworthy except it doesnt work if its a depression caused by a neurochemical malfunction, ofc i dont think a CTE riden guy or mma fans would understand that
Iconic LIVE the community tend to be pretty dumb if you ask me
Well it's complementary. I guess. You'd obviously take serotonin re uptake drugs + combine it with psychological counselling and conscious lateral thinking. I've never had to face this but I assume what he's talking about is only a part of the entire process.
@@recipoldinasty it may not apply to everyone in every situation, but he's speaking from experience. In my experience also a way to delve yourself out of a dark place is to be selfless and focus on others. He wasn't maligning those that suffer, just offering a way out for those that can utilize it.
Fuck I really wish I could hang out with Dom for like 5 mins hes always seemed like a straight up type of dude no sugar coating anything and seeing things for what they truly are. Need more people like him in this world. No excuses just hard work
Such an amazing episode!!
And the way Dom draws you in and it looks like he talks just to you is insane. He could be a great actor
Dominick Cruz's commentary has done quite a lot for MMA actually.
Conor is tiring Khabib by taking punches to the face 😂🤣
Rorisang In this video he literally tells Brendan that when he spoke to Conor about that, Conor said that he was actually right.
Edit: also on JRE a while ago, Kavanagh said that that was actually their plan going into the fight too.
@@frace3824 Yeah I know but it was still kinda stupid . won't deny that he is a great commentator now.
Depression is a selfish emotion, never thought about it like that, this is true..
Alldread Productions .. extremely ignorant statement to make.
It's a very bland definition. For one, it's a very ignorant statement, if he meant it literally, which I believe he did. Metaphorically, if he meant to describe the essence of the systems and their affect on the mind, its selfish. But the bottom line is that severe depression is not a controllable emotion, especially over an emn extended period of time. Plus, a TBI can cause depression. Shit, even CTE manifests into depression, depending on a lot of factors. In short, it's a silly statement.
Dom needs to write a book
Love the video well shot. We love food trucks and developing food biz
This is the most in-depth interview with Dominick I have seen and I am definitely a fan now.
Dom is another level of IQ fighter!!!
Shwab is another level of IQ as well
@@poplarbar5059 that's funny

Dom is thinking man I hope this bonehead doesn’t end up getting me injured again
Best guest so far IMO. The amount of wisdom this man has accumulated and his ability to quietly and confidently articulate all of it is mindblowing. Props to Brendan also for pulling off a great interview.
Thank you Dominick. The bit were he talks about Dana saying he had the worst luck was very inspirational.
Bantamweight GOAT. Love this guy. Always intriguing to see him fight.
