Thank you so much for watching! xx
I have to give it to you, your editing style is incredibly simple yet elegant and tasteful. Nothing's over the top. I love that your approach is to keep things natural and to remove distractions. Excellent video!
Julia your channel is severely underrated, I love your work
Agree 100%
Best tutorial so far on how to use these two software for beginners. Straight to the point with explanation with no BS intro. Thank you and keep up the good works.
With all the channels out there your channel is the best for beginners
This is at present my go to channel whenever it comes photography related stuffs. This channel is Unlike any other who do unnecessary things such as reaction videos, useless vlogging when they get famous and probably run out of content ideas. There's always something to learn from your videos. Love your work.
Love that you showed us your editing technique! 😃
Thank you! 💛
Fantastic job! I'll be re-watching, stopping..rewinding..playing..stopping..etc a lot! Thank You!
Thanks alot, i feel developed every time i see your posts..
Hi Julia , i really love your tutorial , simple & elegant , one of the many reasons why i dont like my photos is that i over edit it in Lightroom & photoshop . Watching your editing workflow amazed me , i fall asleep in my computer chair then boom your angelic voice wakes me up , this is the answer to my ? . i used to much PS action on my Photos that's why it looks weird . Yours is very simple though very satisfying to watch.
What is good about this lady is that she is very good at explaining what she is doing. Which points to her being very intelligent.
great! even your voice sounds so great and pleasing.
I found this really useful. Having watched so many different editing videos from some very prominent UA-camrs, I found this refreshingly simple, but effective. I’m certainly changing my workflow on the back of this. Thanks Julia !
Thank you!
@@juliatrotti Hi. I am just so bothered. I finished editing an image on photoshop and save it to 2048 px (jpeg). And after adding the file to facebook, it would not show the image meaning i cannot upload it. Any help please? Thanks.
What a great image .. and your videos are so relaxing ..
That was extremely helpful! Saving for sure
You are so flawless!
Best editing workflow ive seen. Thanks for sharing! ❤️
I am a beginner for editing because of this vid it helps me a lot. Thank you Julia for sharing this!
This was so helpful! I have always been so overwhelmed with photoshop, but there's no need. Simple tools to just tweak and retouch. Thank you so much for sharing your workflow!!
Glad it was helpful!
Omg you have so much patience and experience! That’s a lot of work. Thank you so much for sharing
Seeing this in 2021. Fantastic tutorial. You are born artist and a teacher. Love how you say "Heareh" lol. Jokes aside, Thank you Julia!
Great tutorials easy to follow and some of the bedt i have seen. Zillion thanks!
Thank you!
You have a way of explaining the process of what you are demonstrating in a really easy to understand way. Your voice is calming and you have such a pretty disposition! Thanks for your hard work! Ps. I'm learning a lot!
Thank you so much!
Super cool video. Favourite so far :)
Thanks Julia for your nice tutorial
I love your work! Thank you so much for all the learning tools and videos. I have been binge watching and learning so much from you!
You can always export your RAW files into PS as a DNG file which is basically the same thing, except it's just a more compatible version of RAW so it's user-friendly with other platforms. You don't lose any information at all.
I basically do the same thing as you. I work in LR, but when I bring it into PS, I export it as a DNG file. So all in all, DNG is a lossless format just like RAW. Equivalent.
Nathan Bryant interesting, my Lightroom gives it to photoshop in dng (I think) then autosaves as tiff, but also have a psd file
OMG I’ve used Lightroom since Ver 1 and I never knew about the alt click on sharpen mask feature (2:15 or so). So useful, thank you!
Wow that looks so amazing. I am so impressed. Good job
Thank so much!! Very straightforward and easy to understand. I will be referencing this video a lot. I’m watching your frequently separation next! Thanks again.
Stunning! Thank you for these detailed steps. I learned a lot and appreciate you sharing your time and talents!
Thanks Julia!
I have been learning a lot from you! Thank you so much!!!
Best editing process video I've ever seen! Thank you Julia :)
Many thanks ! UA-cam is full of tutorials how desired portrait range is 70-200 but you are proofing how beautiful 35 and 50 can be. I would also recommend a 200mm prime from Canon just for the sake of diversity.
Wonderful video. Learned something and always nice to see which style of editing different people use in photoshop. Keep it up great work!
Thank you for show us editing . Really Enjoy it
It was really good and great learning for me
This is a really good photo. I'm really pleased with the quality of your content!
Wow thanks for this Julia! I love seeing how different photographers go about editing their images!
Julia, you are AMAZING!!!!!!! Thank you so much for sharing with us your technique. As a beginner photographer trying to build my own business, I feel really over whelmed sometimes. But your tutorials are so easy to follow and have such beautiful results, so thank you
You do that much work for almost every photo you edit?! I am in awe. I’d love to do that, but I don’t have the time! How long does it take for you to edit a session with about 25 images? The edit was crazy good by the way. Once my semester is over, I can’t wait to learn Photoshop!
Haha yeah every photo goes through this workflow for every shoot! I've gotten pretty fast at editing though, so each photo takes me anywhere between 1 minute - 15/20 minutes max. I think a session with 25 photos would take me 3 - 4 hours total to edit if I sat down and did it all in one go! I usually edit a few photos one day, some the next, etc. And thank you! Good luck with your Photoshop learning experience :D It's such a fun program to use.
Thanks a lot! And great work by the way with that image ^^
I love these workflow + editing videos... i probably have seen every single one that you posted lol And also loving your hair 😍
Thank you so much! 💛
Very realistic and subtle editing workflow. Excellent job!

Hi, Julia,
a nice insight into your work and beautiful portraits.
Thank you and good light.
Mario
Love your editing Julia! Keep up the great work.
Julia,
Thank you so much for the tutorial! Can you do a video on the performance settings you are using? Lightroom is working lighting fast for you!
Jeez you’re really talented! Thank you for all the tips
Great channel!, I'm new to photography and I really enjoy watching your videos
Excellent! Simple! Useful! Genius! Thank you! Etc!
I love your editing process! I always start off in LR myself but have been a bit hesitant to edit as much in PS. Once I invest in a Wacom tablet, I'll be adventuring into PS more.
Great job, love the way u edit with full respect to the model.
Hate that photographs that edit the model that it cant even recognize it self.
Thanks for the tutorial, see u around.
Thank you so much! And I agree, years ago I remember watching retouching tutorials on UA-cam and they would start by completely liquifying the model into a different person... I have no idea why people would want to do that!
super helpful video, thank you!
informative and interesting .. well explained without the hype - thanks
Thank you for the insightful video. I really learned a good amount of tips from this.
sooooo cool!
Fantastic! Thank you!!!!
Wow. some of these I didn't even know. Thank you for the tips!
That was a very nice edit !!
Love Photoshop! I can tell you do too. So fun. I kind of liked her eyes in the before too though! Just something about a hint of shadow under them, makes her look a little more beguiling. Both are nice though.
Amazing, thank you!
Every time she says "photo"
This is amazing. I have an iPad Pro but no desktop. I will try to use some of these techniques in my work flow. Another great video cant wait till you hit 100k subs you deserve it and more.
Thank you so much! I'm pretty sure you can still do the majority of this on a phone/ipad now - the new Lightroom for mobile has pretty much all the same settings as desktop + Photoshop has a retouching function on phones too :)
Wow I love how you teach. I feel like I can learn so much!! Thank you so much.
Hey Dezzydaze, I totally agree, Julia is an ace teacher, I have learn't so much from watching her vid's Best wishes from UK
