I always learned to put the strawberry jello mixture over the ptetzels and put in fridge to set up. Then put the topping on top and put back in fridge for a bit. Spreads a bit easier

My mom used to make this for me a few times a year. I think it may be time I gave it a go and made some for her.

I never had this recipe until I was an adult- I love it and forget to make it until I’m reminded- this would be great for Christmas ( the red) or for barbecues (sit it on an ice pack to keep chilled😉)

We call that Strawberry Yum Yum. We used pecans for the bottom & strawberry gel & fresh strawberries for the top. I've never heard of putting pineapple in it, but I bet it's really good. 😊

I’m glad you mentioned that. I was going to ask if pineapple had to be added. I can’t eat pineapple 👍. I’ve never had pretzel salad. Looks delicious.

Our family loves this! We have not combined the fruit, but I probably will next time! We do pineapple & we do strawberry. Always love your videos & it was fun to have a friend join you today! I did grow up having jello a lot & my mom would stir in Cool Whip, but didn’t have this dessert until I was an adult! And I’m so thankful my sister-in-law found it & shared it! May God bless your families, especially this Easter as we celebrate our risen Savior! Many blessings! ❤

I would make this with raspberries pie filling and cut out the jello, and id also probably squirt / dabble chocolate fudge drizzle on top

I bet you could use lemon jello with the blueberries. I think it would be awesome.

I never had it until I was an adult too. A lady made it at a potluck at work. It’s really good. Is there a vegan jello you would recommend?

Large mixing spoons, large rubber spatulas, offset spatulas and narrow rubber spatulas are your friends when mixing ingredients!! Table spoons are inefficient and too easy to contaminate the mix when it touches your hand. Just a suggestion!! I have purchased your cookbooks and love them.

Just out of curiosity, why do you use the off brand rather than name brand ingredients? Ive found the off brand isn’t really much cheaper.

Um, if I've taken a Pyrex out of the oven and stick it in the freezer immediately it is guaranteed to crack and break. Dish looks good too. Let me know what you do to defy science!
