Did you make that? Or buy it? Where did you buy it if you bought it? Every year I see so many broken camp chart chairs in peoples trash. They are filling up the landfill. I could find a quick and easy way to the repair them, that would be a good thing!
This chair is a present of my daughter, so I had a strong intention to preserve it. I spend a lot of time to find spare plastic parts to fix it but they don't sell it. So I decided, that plastic is the weakest point and I can make a stronger detail with aluminum profiles and rivets - that is all you need. cut aluminum corner into small pieces of needed dimension, join it with pieces of aluminum channel by rivets, drill a hole for a thick and short bolt with flat head, maybe you will need also a big diameter washer which will hold the fabric, connect the detail with legs of the chair by thin and long bolts and voila).
in a couple of months after this video the other side broke so I had to repair the other side of this chair in the same way. By now everything is working and is much more reliable than new).
