I have a question. I have the HF tool. Can you use the other mandrels from the other brands on it? I need a metric M6 mandrel and I didn't really want to buy a whole new tool for the one time I'll use that. I also wasn't sure the size of the half of the mandrel that threads into the tool itself and if the other tools used a different mandrel thread size for that part. Thanks!
I haven’t ever run across any other brand’s mandrel that would fit. Some have right handed (Hf) and others left handed threads that go into the tool. If you do locate one please post it back here for others to know about.
Just picked up HF threaded riveter. Great deal for 15 bucks.
I agree. It’s not the most durable tool, but it will work well for most projects.
