My Fiance's Toyota Yaris exhaust had snapped. So I thought it a great video to make showing how to replace this exhaust. Its so simple that anyone could do it with very minimal tools and equipment. Replace the Middlebox centre section on a 2006 Toyota Yaris 1.0 VVTI

The centre section on my wifes Yaris1.3 is just coming to retirement, just got through the MOT by the skin of its teath as it has a pin hole of a blow under the heat guard, just where you can't see it. First class video, many thanks .

I had this replaced recently but now the heat shield around has fallen off, is it really needed?
Does that say Styrin Motors on the reg plates, I live round the corner from them, nice little dealership!

Was thinking about getting the Yaris2,i got the Yaris1 (2002).Are these pretty good? I changed my centre & back box 2 yrs ago so these exhaust do last abit.Liked the video btw,short sweet n simple.
The only yaris mk2 i would buy is the 1.8 sr they look nice👍 and i assume they go pretty well. I have the mk1 sr but really want the t sport
"Like a go-kart" is the best way of describing how the Yaris 1 feels. I have a 2001 1.0 GS, and it makes my mum's 2008 Fiesta feel like a tank!
On Kerb weight, most sources reckon as low as 830kg for early base models.
Is there no CAT in 1.0 type ?

Best to buy a new lambda sensor while you’re in there. That old one looks shot.

Just clean it with petrol it really works no need to buy a new one

@@bluudysgarage good to hear as I’ve just purchased the exact same exhaust after having the exact same break. Unfortunately the compression gaskets that came with a fitting kit i ordered separately are the complete wrong size and now I’m struggling to find some
