Hope you are doing much better. I have one 2.5mm. Going with gamma knife since I have no issues with my hearing..in fact hearing was excellent despite my tinnitus. Sending prayers. Yes, researching is emotionally draining. I want to see neurosurgeon as answers are needed. Thank you for your story. Yes, I grieved & was in total shock. Oddly, I found mine after 1st dose Pfizer. Had adverse reaction with numbness in face. I am concerned with watch & wait as I do not want to deal with it being bigger later. Hope you do another post about an update as to how you are doing now. Many prayers for excellent results to you. 🙏🙏🙏
I'm so sorry to hear this but I have full faith that you'll come through this better than ever and completely tumor free. Prayers, love, light, positivity and the best intentions are coming your way
You mentioned getting the entire tumor out, but if you leave a sliver, and NOT take out the entire tumor, you can protect your 7th cranial nerve. I have surgery scheduled very soon. I like the Acoustic Neuroma Association "kit", with the excellent pamphlets, and I have called six or seven individuals on their peer list. Good luck. to you!
Hi. I had mine removed back in September. Successful removal, they got the whole tumor. Life after the surgery has its challenges, but I’m doing okay. I hope you are too.
