    Do you find that most sites don't have on-site sewer connection & you have to dump at the community site at the park?
    What % parks do you find have on-site sewer connections or do you only look to stay at Parks that have on-site sewer connections?
    I'm New at this! Help! 😊

      @Cajunnathan that’s a great question!
      Paid campsites can be separated into three categories:
      1. RV Resorts - they normally always have full hookups.
      2. RV Parks - also normally have full hookups.
      3. RV Campgrounds - Here’s how I would roughly break these down by our experience. It’s about 50/50 between full and partial hookups. Partial hookup sites typically have power and water, with a campground dump station. A small percentage of campgrounds have no hookups.
      With the advent of apps like Hipcamp, it’s quite common to pay for a private property campsite with no hookups or onsite dump station.
      .
      Free boondocking is another animal. The campsites most often have no hookups. You also have to be on your game to find dump stations and places to fill your fresh water tank.
      Hope this helps and thanks again for the great question!

      @@cajunnathan4586 yes on both counts. We often use Loves & Pilot/Flying J for dump/fresh fill. You just have to check with each location. They don't all have dump stations.
      And this is a good video subject! 👍

    I REALLY Hope this tip helps. Every time we open the door it smells horrible. We’ve kept the valves closed & dump when the tank is full. Hopefully that “pea trap” trick works.

    Good info, but that was the longest two minutes ever 😂 it was a nice try though with the slow timer haha

    Two problems with your “pee-trap” strategy: first, the water that is trapped in your pee trap is just as smelly as what’s in the dump, and second, you should only open your black tank’s knife valve when you’re emptying your tank, not between times - so your knife valve will block odors from the dump.

    love the vid, but you need a new timer. according to youtube, your timer starts at 0:35, and ends 4:35. exact 2 min.....
