The amiga was strange...the programmers making games that worth 300 euros now days in internet like turrican, or shadow of the beast, and then or hackers that make possible that we have no 10 games, but more than 200 euros at lower prize, but its true it was parasitismus..., but the reallity is that amiga was very special for those who live it and for the new generations that with retro video like this can try to understand the astronomical growth of the capacity of the machines in just half century.
I loved the video, plenty of memories. Since I haven't seen it mentioned yet, the music at 24:31 (Lost Patrol) is a cover of Rob Hubbard's soundtrack to 'Thanatos'.
yes a very beautiful theme very melancholic and you are right this theme was composed by Rob Hubbard, the conversion on Amiga was made by Julian Breeze
Actually, the original is by Julian Breeze, from the original Amstrad version of Thanatos. Hubbard then adapted it for the c64 version. Technically not a composition by Rob Hubbard. Hubbard also made adaptations or covers sometimes from other video game composers. His maybe most famous track "Commando" for instance is a readaptation of the Capcom original arcade track by Tamayo Kawamoto. Rob Hubbard is still one of the greatest vidéo game composers of all time.

There are 3 possibilities: The game does not use all the capacity of the diskette, i.e. less than 880KB. If there is at least 30KB left, it is enough to make an excellent production. For some games it was more radical: the pirates removed some information to have space: opening image, logos, intertitles. Last solution: include an extra disk. For example Turrican 2, Killing Game Show and many other games that you have in pirate versions were on two disks. But the commercial version was on one diskette. The very powerful proprietary compression format made it possible to fit more than 1.4MB of data on an 880KB floppy disk. To crack the game, hackers had to disassemble the whole program without being able to use the same compression format afterwards. Many games with several disks ended up with a "0" disk. You will recognize these games because the disk change is not clean: it is often a screen that flashes
