Shadow of the beast und Chrystal Hammer gefallen mir gut
Although the developers were limited by the smaller number of sound samples, they were still able to create outstanding soundtracks. This shows creativity and dedication and many developers today can take a leaf out of their book.
I agree.
The 80's and early to mid 90's are a unique era for Video- and Computergame music and I really enjoy the sound of a lot of Amiga Games.
Twinworld was my dad's favorite game - rip dad
I'm sorry dude he must've been awesome
Shadow of the Beast...einfach nur Geil.
Super. Ich lass Mal was da.
All top tunes.
love the transitions, great job! And yes, this is such a walk down memory lane. Cut my teeth on the C64 and then on the Amiga. While they were limited by today's standards, the limitation was the reason for the c creativity. Nowadays, if there is not much limitation people don't know where to start. I remember that once someone came up with a great way or trick to create new sounds, it got picked up and developed further. It was an awesome time!
Yeah, Music of Old Computer- and Videogames have a so unique sound. I allways enjoy the creative work of the composers.
Vielen Dank für die Arbeit.
Sehr gerne :)
Very good! Well presented too 🥰
Thx a lot. A friend of mine help a lot with the aninmation and pre rendered images. To my luck he help to create the visuals of my videos and bring my visual visions to life. Big shoutout to him :)
brilliant tracks from the great Amiga
this is so well done. Thanks.
Thanks a lot :)
Very cool music thanks for the video.
You're welcome
Danke! Schönes Weihnachtsgeschenk
Sehr gerne :)
Vielen Dank. Es ist eine außergewöhnliche Arbeit.
Vielen Dank.
Nice selection, time machine was such a weird game that somehow captivated me as a kid while not really understanding how to play.
Same for me. I think even today it would be hard to play this game as it is not very well designed.
Fine Music, thanks 😋✌️
Sehr gerne :)
The PC version of Lemmings doesn't have any intro music. Oddly, the ZX Spectrum at least attempted it. I am a synth freak and appreciate what this machine is capable of doing.
Did you see or use a Amiga in Action before? At least try it out on Emulation. Especially Music and Sound was beyond the time but also
graphically it was a beast when it comes out.
nice!💎🔉
Awesome presentation!
Thx man. A friend help me to render the Visual Effects.
@@retroshortview1326 Perfecto 🤙
More of that, please!!!
A lot of these tracks are such lesser known ones.. but I guess for good reason! Not all are great! But always good to hear Amiga stuff!
I like that Blender animations!
Hybris...
Yeah Lotus 3 tracks were ace!
Good job👍
Thx a lot
Oh this takes me back, love it, used mine with a Gen lock for video production
Wow, very impressive. You made the video production for yourself or did you work for a company that made video productions?
@@retroshortview1326 myself,3 pansonic camera,s into a mx10 mixer, a Fostex audio mixer. Still make videos but the gear has moved on a lot since those days
@@johnsovcom I never sen that in action. Even if I can search on youtube for it, can you make a littlr clip how it is work? :)
@@retroshortview1326 see what I can do, I know I have some clips on my nas, let you know when I put them on youtube
Amigaaaahhhh ❤❤❤
About time to make a part 2, wouldn't you say?
Probably. If time and passion for it come I will begin to work on it :)
40:52 - cover art is wrong, Shadow of the Beastie was released by Psygnosis, and not Gremlin Graphics, as far as I know they had nothing to do with this series of games, which all sport hauntingly beautiful music which work hand in hand with the artwork.
Listen to Hybris, and then, listen to Bonski Beat - Smalltown boy.
I love the background art. How did you do it?
It was all created by a friend. As far as I know it was all created with a software called "Blender". He modeled every objekt on his own and then put together the scene and rendered it.
Why is there no Amiga soundfont? This crap's amazing!
I see you. As the Amiga work with samples it cam have every sound you want. Most soundtracks use sounds from the mid to late 80s. My advise would to check out the syntheziser that was used by Bands and Artists that was populare back in the days.
I can recoment the flollowing video, as it explains in a very simple way how music was done on the Amiga. ua-cam.com/video/i9MXYZh1jcs/v-deo.html
sorry ! c64 music and amiga
love it
