Note for Disc Priests - Atonement upstairs can heal people downstairs (it has a very tall cylinder range check, probably to account for variable boss heights)
Have you tried having a DK tank stay upstairs with the devastation, to prevent the raid wide damage between each big meteor. A 370 ilvl DK tank can survive it with AMS + Icebound or AMS + PS. As it only deal 420k fire damage before resistance, at least on paper. On paper this should make the fight faster since you skip the phase 1 intermissions.
I was a little confused why engorged broodlings were mentioned until i read the description LOL wasnt sure uf this was a heroic guide or if theyd added engorged broodlings to normal for....reasons? Idk lol
dude above me is correct, if you look at a log the mage gets hit by devastation through ice block, but cauterize saves them and they are immune to the cauterize dot being applied
@@FACEJJ Where did you find the log? i wanted to look into it hence im playing mage aswell and the video doesnt show a cauterize procc nor the debuff of it. Kinda confused because he mentions cauterize as "well timed" afterwards
Fire mage here - where does the cauterize come into play? I understand the ice block, mirror image, and invis part.. but when does cauterize proc and why? And then, how do you mitigate the damage?
@@derkreuzritter6789 I just ran it tonight. Ice block 100% blocked the damage. I know what you mean when you say ice block after a cauterize proc stops you from dying but that wasn't the case with Beth tonight. I was able to ice block, mirror image, and invis perfectly but I was too close and the AOE took me out of invis and then I died to cauterize because of no heals up top
yo joardee, idk if its because of your monitors placement but i see your head stays tilted non stop and you are looking sideways, you will have serious neck issues if you continue playing like that and your head staying in a not natural position. stay safe
I work hard to get my top 10 rank Rdruid parses and Joardee's out here trying to teach raiders to take less damage with cheesy mage mechanics. I WORK HARD TO FLOAT MY LOGS AND MY WORK SHALL NOT BE UNDONE.

the prodigal son returns with the best guides east of the mississippi great guide
Joardee's raid guides are second to none. Thanks
Amazing. Thanks!
Thanks! I am going to use this guide to kill the boss

Great video as usual. Has anyone ever told you that you look like Johnny Knoxville if he never took drugs?

Keeping the Mage up top seems like a bug. Smoldering devastation used to kill you through pally bubble and Ice block.
Maybe, but it works for now!
It kill you through ice block but the mage doesnt survive the devastation because of ice block he survived with cauterize.

Poggers Joardi
Will the assignment sheet have 10 man capacity
It will definitely work, but won't be as plug and play - we'll try to make it work as best as possible but priority has to be 25 man!

Ice block doesnt block the damage, cauterize just saves you from being killed and ice block does block the cauterize damage

Currently your patreon doesn't show the Assignment Sheet as content. Is it up, but hidden for Subscribers only atm? =)
It will go live in the next week or so!
Also yes Patreon subs only
@@JoardeeWhich level do you need to be to get the assignment sheets?
Johnny Knoxville raiding these days :)
why doesn't he cast poh for the raid wide dmg?
@@microjordan448 as long as the raid isn’t going to die, smite/holy fire is better bc it contributes to DPS and also heals
