- Welcome to the 2024 Spring Season with Gates Wildlife!
In this exciting episode, we dive into the heart of springtime chaos as Gates Wildlife gears up for another season of wild adventures. But this time, the spotlight is on a location with great access: a cozy kitchen ceiling hiding a secret raccoon family!
As the season blooms with new life, so does the activity in this unsuspecting household. Our customer initially mistook the commotion for the chirping of birds, a common misconception when it comes to the cries of baby raccoons. However, upon closer investigation, we discover a family of furry intruders that were nesting right above their heads.
Join us as Gates Wildlife springs into action to remove this adorable raccoon family and allow their very maternal mother to relocate them to her secondary den. With expertise and care, Cassandra, Brad and Spencer tackles the challenge head-on, showcasing their dedication to preserving wildlife and restoring harmony between humans and nature.
But the adventure doesn't stop there! Follow along as we embark on more thrilling escapades throughout the spring season, encountering a variety of creatures and scenarios that highlight the beauty and challenges of wildlife conservation.

Thank you for saving one family at a time!
Good job guys.
So that’s how raccoons get in. Damn.
Raccoon mothers are so amazing to watch!
You must have a Saved Baby score in the thousands! If Raccoons had saints, they'd probably call one Gates 😂
That mama is amazing climbing up and down the gutter pipes!
They are so adorable. If they didn't chew up wires and things, I wouldn't mind sharing my attic with them.
You guys are FANTASTIC! I wish there were wildlife professionals in the US like you.
Me too!
There are!
One of my FAV videos. Thanks for saving another family.
I love how your content gets better every year bravo! From Wisconsin! 🎉
Great to see you all working so hard for clients and wildlife.
I miss the how the older gentleman would say if it's a boy or girl that has always been my highlight him talking his voice can be so relaxing to listen to .
Very true❤

They do LOTS of rescues! They have a whole fleet of vans there!
the shot of all of you looking into the hole in the roof made me laugh 😂
3:11 omg you guys got me off guard!!! im laughing sooo hard
Love those banditos. Alas we dont see these critters out in Alberta.
It's been said here in Calgary there have been sightings.
This is an awesome video about a precious raccoon family. The view watching Mom climb up & down is amazing. I think I counted 3 cameras to capture all of the action?
Great job! 😊
Always look forward to your videos!
I’d like to see your training camp 🪜🏃. Have a good season 🫡
Always a video to must see
Love watching your work. Cannot get enough of Raccoons, we are not lucky enough to have them in the UK. I would have a feeding station in my garden if we had them.
They’re adorable but if you value your creature comforts like ohhh…..your lights? A dry house that doesn’t leak like a sieve when it rains, all that insulation you paid big $$ for etc.?
No, you wouldn’t have a feeding station! You would have an infestation of four legged wrecking balls.
They’re grouchier than to Fox 🦊 babies 💕😂
That has to be your son! He looks just like both of you! 🤩😍
I think they are brother and sister, him being the younger brother. And the other man is the dad. I could be wrong. They’re a nice famiky
Yes, that is my son Spencer learning the ropes.
do you have a favorite animal to save? they're all worth it but i just thought one was more fun than another.
peace and respect
There's one video where he tells the story of being given a baby raccoon to raise at the age of 17 that had been displaced. He raised it and released it and then it came back up to him 2 yrs later. And because of her, that's why he does what he does now. So raccoons are his favorite. 😊😊😊😊😊
I have a soft spot in my heart for raccoons as I had an opportunity to raise one when I was teenager. They are so smart and teach me something every day I work alongside them.
This lady is fearless I would be scared on a roof and run like a little girl if I seen a raccoon in an attic 😂
It always amazes me how well they climb. They are like big furry spiders.
Loved it and the Behind the Scenes was great too.
Awesome video. So glad you are back on here. Who is the new person?
His name is Spencer. Isn’t he handsome. A nephew of Mr Gates, perhaps?
That is my son Spencer.
Your job it's f*cking awesome, i love those videos
Hey, who's the newbie?
I asked that too! Is the blonde girl his daughter I wonder?
That is my son Spencer who was learning the business.
How old are the babies when they go on their own?
Baby raccoons require a lot of training from their mother. Generally, they’re about nine months of age before they can leave and go on their own.
Love your videos! Thanks so much for sharing! Is the blonde worker the daughter of the main guy? Who is the new young man? Would y'all please introduce everyone.
Thank you, and yes that is my daughter Cassandra and my son Spencer.
Who's the new guy? Is that your son?
Yes, that is Spencer.
O CANADA!
I want a sweatshirt. Why do you not sell the sweatshirts....
Greetings from oakville thanks for the presentation no furry animals are cute according to the viewers unless they are your pet domesticated otherwise dangerous ciao 😊
