    please put the notation at the top, not the bottom so it can be easily seen and not obscured by the red progress bar

    I learned today in class that you only use the half step lead tone changes only when transitioning to different chords.

    I've been dying to learn this style of bass. I only know C major well though. How would I do this without sharps or flats?

      Concentrate on chord shapes you can use on any root or starting note

    Real blues bassists don't use so much half-steps ! Check , e.g.,SVR or tg´he
    Allman Bros.

      Eero, this is a PERFECT exercise for beginners.
      If you can play SRV or Allman Brothers bass lines already, you don't need to be concerned.
      Tom does a EXCELLENT job because he understands beginners.
