My favourite deck from MD since launch that got me into the TCG collecting. Bought Beware of Traptrix structure decks when they released and been playing them now more since their new support released on master duel furtherly. Good vid as always Sam
Same here 😅 I even went to my 1st IRL with Traptrix and yeah its not the best when everyone else used the same deck but none the less my favorite and got me deep into Yugioh now

Traptrix is my favourite trap deck to play, and to play against. It doesn't run floodgates or any of the frustrating traps that Eldlich or Labyrinth play, and while trap holes can shut you down if used correctly, they are a lot more fair to play against.
True I had a 16 turn duel with my friend earlier. He was playing counter fairies it was really fun

Yeah! It’s a completely fair deck. Very consistent, stuns you opponent very well, if you know where you trap hole them, and can handle some interactions. I almost forgot to say about it’s artwork, and I can say it’s….interesting

Made a new account, and decided to do traptrix and oml ita so fun and easy to use, it can easily break boards, the extra deck traptrix monsters are unaffected by traps so really counters lab, ONLY issue is the fact that one negate can and will ruin u
Run three morganite, two field spells, eliminate Exceed, and you will have a better chance against hand traps.
Been playing traptrix and now playing with new support and I gotta say, one negate doesn't really stop everything I always bait the negates put first before going on with my strategy
Adding two Red Reboots in all my Master Duel decks cuz of Traptrix and Labyrinth
I barely survive Traptrix once by using hero deck and now I couldn't survive and its too difficult to find an opening😭
In that last game you couldve also gone Atypus from Sera and the other normal traptrixs, Atypus gives every traptrix 1000 atk, So youd be 2800 with atypus and 3500 with Pinguicula
But i recommend using underworld goddess, traptrix can put a lot of bodies on the field, helps play around avarimax or any trouldsome card
I Think drident and underworld goddess are good extra deck cards due to how easy it is to flood the board with level fours drident for the bounce and goddess like you said is good for deal with troublesome towers
White woman jumpscare is a staple for link heavy strats imo
@@Sacrene yeah, but drident isn't as good because the 0 attack, easier and more beneficial to use redoer or abyss, sure a target destruction is good but traptrix main deck monsters already covers those and as always the f2p bagooska no matter what u can always get a Zeus just won't be 6 material but by then game is already won
@@Rain593 I mean....traptrix is decently link heavy I would say it's a hybrid of link and xyz but still doesn't erase the fact how easy it is to get blocked by avarimax and all the traptrix card are lvl 4 so it can't really use the big xyz monsters to help get past some of the more troubling link monsters turn 1 going second

Man I ran this deck against DM, and plunder patrol and both times got clapped. This deck might work for the power creep stuff we have going on, but when it comes to big boards that are untargetable and negates, this deck doesn't do much at all.
Well it's a trap deck. Obviously it's way stronger going first than going second.
@Abyssionknight okay but plunder is traditionally a going second deck for what its worth. I went first. Still got ousted.

Goddess of the Underworld + the Strenna stuff might help you. It opens lines of play for when you draw Parallel eXceed or just spam the board in general.
Goddess is self explanatory, but you can use Aromaseraphy Jasmine to tribute Rikka Queen Strenna. You get to special a plant from deck & Rikka is triggered summoning Hyperyton for the negate.
Bagooska is also always a thing because if you get to Bagooska + Sera + Atypus you get to atk & a lot of rogue decks like that can't link up out of Bagooska easily
@drastic6411 no it doesn't. 🤣🤣 there's plenty of non-targeting destructions and banishment. Mirrorjade, raigeki, accesscode talker, Baronne de fleur, the infinity package, nib. Untargetable USED to mean shake my hand, even plunder kaiju's Untargetable, and thats if their not running sphere mode which I run at 2 in the side. There's an answer for everything.

I love this archtype
In that final duel you should have made pinguicula, then banished mirrorjade with pudica. pinguicula would have eaten him as link material to get by his effect when he leaves the field.

Traptrix is my very first deck in this game then switch to labyrnth , and im glad the new selection pack has all the new card for the two decks
Not a fan of imperm with 3 maxx c. Or 3 sera when you have revivals and could use bagooska. You got prevention but no removal outside of evenly.

What else are you supposed to play as removal? The meta is too diverse to pick anything besides Evenly Matched right now.
@@FakeHeroFang It wouldn't hurt to run drowning or droplet etc. Looking at the deck, if a maxx c resolves, it currently draws into nothing & theres no push for game via say accesscode etc.

i been playing traptrix for awhile and i was just crushing it then all of a sudden this new event comes out and my traptrix is just bad. I only have 4 wins and 3 of them are surrendered. The other 15 are losses im like what the heck? What do i do lol

I’d like to see a dual seriese between u and susu were to optimize every deck from original yugio “ like updated to 2023 what they “ the charechters” would have in there deck today. While staying true to the charechters core deck. Like yugi would run a super modern DM deck with a bunch of dm fusions, rituals, and extra deck Mai with a super modern harpy deck, and harpy suport tea with a super modern fairy deck, joe with a super moden red eyes deck with a bunch of on gambling cards, mako with a super modern ocean deck with a bunch of water field suport or Maby even go for double duals like yugi and Jains vs the masked brothers or para-dox brothers vs yugi and joe but use there moder decks
