Welcome to day 5 of my trip around Appalachia, this time leaving out of Knoxville to head for Fayetteville West Virginia. It was a good day of riding, come along and join my adventure!

Great series so far. I notice the Garmin GPS is off the mount and looks like you're using car play for GPS? Was that due to weather - I thought those Zumos were made for weather?

Had nothing to do with the weather, I use the Zumo in the rain all the time. I never put it on the bike that day because I was just doing a simple A to B route via the interstate to get to WV as quickly as possible. I only use the Zumo for very specific touring routes that I build. For everyday point to point use, I either use the onboard nav system or CarPlay.

Interesting - thanks for the info. So far I find the onboard gps to do what I need. I will hold off on the Zumo for a little while. Ride safe...
