the whole “12 years a Slave” one was just intense. you know that such a scene is well performed when it comes to giving you distress and pain
I just couldn't bring myself to watch that scene again
Dude I was about to come down here and say, I've never seen the film, and I know it's just a movie with actors but that was so disturbing it made me really uncomfortable and distressed, could barely watch it, that's awful. Great acting job tho
And in one take
V for Vendetta... unbelievable
Movie just wasn't good to me.
@@Fudge_Fantasy to each their own you really have to understand it to like it tbh
I never really paid attention to it even though I’ve watched it countless times but it’s really cool to see the dichotomy of one born in fire and another born in rain. Really damn cool. God I love that move
@@Fudge_Fantasy Hipster type movie. I thought it was boring myself but of course I "didn't get it"
Thank you for putting Natalie Portman’s performance in VoV. It’s my favorite movie and I always talk about how injured she was cause people don’t really talk about her amazing acting in this
She was great in V. I just saw Jane Got A Gun a couple months ago and ... there's a scene where she silently gets some terrible news .. and lets out this sound of pure primal human animal grief from the bowels of hell, still gives me chills all over any time I remember. Talk about an actor letting the truth of the moment live in their body. She scared the shit out of me. I didn't really buy Ewan Mcgregor's scenes at all, but Natalie Portman and Joel Edgerton are fantastic in it.
Only Keanu Reeves could make the very best and the very worst lists
Topped only by Nicolas Cage and Halle Berry
Sylvester stallone
Trixmay 988 Lol absolutely TRUE! He was the only horrible in Much Ado About Nothing and very solid in other movies.
Watchu mean?
Eddie Redmayne
Heat and Taxi Driver!!!🔥🔥🔥
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
The Scene in Get Out when he's talking about his mom is great acting.
Jake Gyllenhaal on here for screaming into a pillow
Christian Bale is all over these
The south paw scene is amazing
was that movie good? i've seen the trailer but not the movie yet. I have dvd now, It sure looks good.
@@brittanycarlin9513 love that movie! Wicked good
You just made me rewatch Ex Machina again. I already know the whole script with every dialogue for years, but what does it matter, lets go again.
You listed the machinist, and you’re correct about it being good acting. But you gotta realize he went from that to Batman begins, he was determined to be Batman.
Batman gets so much unneeded praise, while this movie is criminally undersign. Just let us appreciate something else than Batman for five fucking minutes. Plus, Christian Bale may have been good in Batman Begins, but he was grossly overshadowed by Heath Ledger. All Bale did in that movie was talk in a gruff voice and hit people for almost two hours
@@schematicb5393 He means his physical transformation lol.
Greatest transformation by an actor ever.
@@schematicb5393 Bale was supposed to be the Under dog..he is the Dark Knight ffs.. his role was to be unspoken about . Batman had to be in the background to perform at his best
When the first scene came into focus from the darkness, I thought it was the Frankenstein monster 😂
I'm a movie list junkie...& these lists are fan-frikn-tastic!! I could watch these all night!!👍🏻
2:00 Oh God Christian Bale is Awesome
Oh man, you got me with the last one. Right in the emotions. Well done.
Jake Gyllenhaal is underrated.
masked engineer he really is.. if you haven’t seen end of watch I highly recommend it. My favorite movie of his
Extremely
These films make movies worth watching and proud to witness
Denzel & Tom in Philadelphia were FANTASTIC
Thank you for putting the coffee Heat scene
I've never seen 20 Years a Slave.
And after seeing this scene, I don't think I'm going to. Jesus Christ!
Nick Nolte. Masterful.
12 Years a Slave got me-
That "off the wagon" scene and the last fight in Warrior always tear me up
These are great!
Denzel has to be one of the if not the best actors of all time.
You got some really good stuff here.
The best scene for me -HEAT- " ..stop talking slick"...
Anything Denzel, DeNiro, Pacino, Hanks is superb acting!👏🏿💕👏🏿
Pacino took a crapdive for awhile with films. But the HBO movies You don't know Jack & Paterno he really did good in. Can't say the same for DeNiro he's about as bad as Travolta now
Jack Nicholson
That last scene though... :(
Christian bale must win this oscar this year for Vice
Who thought they'd see the day John Wick and Star Trek 2 on a best acting compilation
The added music is distracting. Good acting doesn’t need music. Please leave the movie scenes as is. Thanks.
It's for dummies who can't understand the subtext. Let them exist
So go make your own acting videos without the music. Fuckin loser.
Nick Nolte in Warrior is just incredible. Can’t believe Plummer beat him out that year in the Oscars
The last one... cry like a baby. Every. Time.
Warrior is underrated
Trey Gibson #NickFrickinNolte!!!!!
I wanna rewatch that movie. It's so good and haven't seen.it since it came out
That scene crushes me everytime. The scene before where tommy tells his father off leads to that then into the ending where the song about today comes on and they close up on Nick's face. Fucking Amazing.
Southpaw. Great interpretation of a cell phone on vibrate.
Matty McMattamus what movie is this? Seems very familiar
Keanu Reeves doesn't deserve to be here man
The background music kinda of takes away from the tension from some scenes
Yeah, a well-acted scene has peaks and takes you on an emotional ride, even if it’s short. When there’s music going over the whole video that’s ALSO designed to take you on a similar ride it completely muddles the emotional context of the acting, which is why we’re here.
@@DurfMcAllister I gotcha
John Wick in a best acting compilation? Nice but maybe a little controversial but who can't love Keanu?
Please, dont take these down. PLEASE!
Ed Harris🙌🏾
brotha.... you... are... goin'....down
there's a flip side to that coin.
It’s like diamonds in a box called UA-cam
Still can’t take the dog thing from John Wick seriously
How bout some excerpts from Amadeus. Scalieri.
Natalie portman
❤️❤️
The only thing I can tell you is, you CANNOT decide whether a scene is well done if it's cut in half. A great actor goes through different stages through a scene, as it follows a dramatic structure. They go through different objectives, which guide them in the scene, which gives each part an emotional logic to it. What you seem to have done here is cutting the most intense part, without giving us the chance to see whether the actor actually got to where they are on their own, or it was purely physical an external acting. I think...
Segundo Gelos Thank you for understanding the importance of acting! But you misunderstand my intent with these videos. They are not titled “Best scenes of all time” it is the best ACTING of all time. Because of the performance given throughout the entire film. All I do is give a small highlight as a promo or commercial that way people who don’t watch too many films can see the movies and enjoy the film along with the actors full performance.
Awesome. Then, by all means, keep on. I'll watch some, for sure. :)
Life is full of choices, some good, some bad!
Taxi driver
Can u put the name of the movie under the scene
They're all in the description dumb fuck.
Hope he does
what is the music at 9:15?
❤
143 what is that movie?
That edit. "You hurt a child, I'm gonna lay you down."
Robert De Niro: "You talking to me?"
We know about your little hollywood escort service, Bobby.
i keep hoping to see Tears in rain scene from blade runner but i never do
U need to put the movie names on the clips so we can watch them.
It must be called "My favorite dramatical episodes" from first video to last.
What movie is at 9:50? Ty
All Dramas are better with English accents. Even the old Biblical ones.
Is this a James Bond movie? (One of the recent ones)
Because I swear that’s Daniel Craig
Turn on English subtitles at 0:13
What on earth does Keanu Reeves do on this list?! :D
Guy Pearce.
It’s amazing how Keane reeves is included in a “best acting of all time” compilation.
I mean it's crazy, it's almost like he's a good actor or something..
Daniel Craig's accent is much better in Defiance than Knives Out lol
Matthew mcfaydens reaponse to Keira knightly was better than Keira knightly
can any one tell the name of the movie at 9:24, i cannot find it in the description
I think it's Trainspotting
12 Years a slave is a great movie but not one I recommend,
Why not
😄😄😄😄😄😄
No recent Kevin Spacey?
😨
You talkin’ to me?
I watched this video and wasn’t sure if the title was sarcastic. I guess I just can’t tell if acting is good
Movie at 2:20?
Bruce Wayne southpaw
I fucking loved that scene on john wick
Movie name st 2:07 American pschyco
No it's the Machinist
John Wick?? The best acting of all time?? Seriously???
To be fair, Keanu Reeves is a pretty good actor
Sand-r lol no he's not
that is his opinion, you don't need to be a dick about it. he even said it's HIS opinion in the description.
Don't ever talk to John Wick like that.
i mean, whats good acting and whats bad acting? everyone has their own opinions, their own tastes, but in my opinion, keanu reeves didnt do a really good job in that scene
movie at 1:57?
I believe it's "The machinist"
Madre mía, toda esta serie de "grandes actuaciones" es oro puro
3:04 why in the fuck did you cut the ending off? Are you mad?
Any best of acting video with Keanu loses all credibility.
Um...these are NOT incredible acting scenes. Sorry. Nope. You like the scenes for other reasons.
What other reasons do you think they like them? They said it's a subjective list of scenes they liked the acting in, why do you think they lie about it.
how cool would that be if the 12 years a worker scene was method acting?
12 years a worker? lol
Why is Keanu in there. He’s not exactly a good actor
The best acting of all time: *John Wick*
Keanu reeves is not a good actor... Lol
Starlight Runner 👍
I think Keanu Reeves is a great person, but he was horrible in John Wick
