Vivian drives Crowley and Rousseau in front of the Police Prefecture in Paris, which is a Gestapo headquarters. Crowley, disguised as an officer gives Rousseau papers of Gerda Schneider, a German auxiliary who was supposed to bring travel documents to Heinrich, for his travel back to Berlin. Her mission is to find a S.O.E. contact Fischer, also disguised as an officer, and make a briefcase swap so that Rousseau can get explosives Fischer had stolen from the ammo shelter in the headquarters. The explosives will the be used to blow the gates so that infantry can liberate the headquarters.
Rousseau enters the building and talks to German officers, mentioning the resistance's pass phrase "Verlaine" in each conversation to see which one is Fischer. She eventually finds Fischer, who takes her to a unoccupied office, and she tells him that she is ready to make the exchange, but Fischer informs her that he is being watched by the Gestapo. He tells her to meet him in the war room and to go through Heinrich's office to avoid security clearance checkpoints. She sneaks into his office and is about open the window, when Heinrich enters his office. She sees him and sticks with her cover story. However, Heinrich, who knows it's her and gloats over killing her family, attemptes to kill her by first drinking a cup of water with her calmly, and suddenly assaulting her by throwing her on the floor and punching. Rousseau kills Heinrich with shards of the water pitcher.
She later meets Fischer in the war room to exchange briefcase of her fake travel documents with his explosives in the war room. A soldier who is about to arrest for the theft decides to point out Fischer in the war room. The Gestapo arrives and attacks Fischer, who desperately tries to convince them he is innocent and they take him away as a prisoner. As Rousseau leaves the headquarters goes under lock down due to her killing Heinrich, and Fischer was compromised as the officer who stole the explosives. Rousseau escapes to the hall where an Gestapo officer stops her and wants to check her briefcase. Due to her being reluctant to give the briefcase with explosives, the officer threatens her and orders her to give it immediately, after which Crowley intervenes and stabs him to death, quickly taking his body to a nearby room. Through the room they reach the compound full of vehicles, where they reach both north and shouth gate. Rousseau sneaks past German guards and places explosives on the gates.
Once the explosives are detonated and gates blown off, the entire German army near the headquarters is alerted, and from the south, French resistance troops and Turner's platoon make the push throughs Parisian streets to the headquarters building. As they enter the building, most of German soldiers inside the compund surrender to the resistance. Finally, Turner's platoon reunites with Crowley. Crowley gives Daniels a shotgun, and together with Zussman they sweep the interior of the headquarters. Along with the resistance, Daniels and Zussman set up defensive position in the headquarters, as Wehrmacht begins a counterattack across Seine river from the north. When the last halftrack attacking the garrison is destroyed, Germans start retreating. The French resistance starts celebrating, launching fireworks and waving French flags. Paris is liberated. - Ігри

Matthew Lo grey officers uniforms are different to the standard uniform. Crowley is wearing a grey officers uniform as well.
Not all German officers were wearing grey uniforms.
The SS were wearing black, the Luftwaffe were wearing blue, the Kriegsmarine, dark blue

The major has an army uniform on with an SS arm eagle, they cocked that up.
...and what's with their awards, medals, paperwork etc having no swastikas but there's battle flags with swastikas everywhere....weird.

@@FR33STyla72 They didn't do enough research or decided to leave out a few details. I think it was a bit of both. Given how politically polarized this world is now, video game companies will more than likely tweak their historically based games so that no one is offended by specific symbols. People should turn to books, documentaries, and other similar sources for accurate accounts on historical events and groups.

@书中自有黄金屋 I think that's a question of perspective. Documentaries are not always accurate, but depending on who produces these films, there might not even be an agenda behind the project. I doubt a lot of recent/current documentaries are negatively affecting how people think since these stories coming out provide new outlooks on ongoing issues and historical events. In any case, people should ponder on the subject discussed in documentaries and do more research if they're really interested. As for Call of Duty WWII or any historically based video games, they're created mainly for our entertainment. We shouldn't take how they present people or events from a specific era at face value.

That is optional tho, no body force for rescuing mission
German soldiers were punished very hard if they raped women, in the worst case they were even taken out of service. (Wehrmacht, Schutzstaffel)
You really need to work on following instructions and paying attention to the game. You did a lot of unnecessary things instead of just completing the objectives in the most efficient manner.

These sequences are amazing to watch, like a movie and the most nazis speaking perfectly German without accents but everybody who is an German contact person speaks horrible German, especially Heinrich. Every German child would recognize their accent immediately!!

Has anyone else noticed how the decline of CoD has coincided with it being reduced to maybe 1/3 actual shooter gameplay? Then maybe 1/3 just walking, usually with a big "follow" message above someone walking in front of you (who walks really slowly), and the final 1/3 being just cutscenes, or in-game cutscenes where you have to stand around waiting for someone to over-explain something for 10-15 minutes before you get to go "follow" someone for a further 10 minutes.
Go back and play, or even just watch, the original call of duty, or even any call of duty up to the original modern warfare, and you will see they were virtually non-stop you in control, and almost always you in control in combat, or at least leading right into combat. Then you can see one of the big reasons these games have turned to shit.
The other major reason is of course their obsession with making them all about multiplayer rather than making a great singleplayer campaign with a decent multiplayer alongside it. If they still made great singleplayer campaigns, the franchise would still be well-loved.
All the franchise will be remembered as now is this garbage, churned out every year to the brain-dead masses. Just junk food for the brain, as a great journalist once said ;)

In reality the liberation was a joke, Nazi's basically ran out of Paris without so much as a skirmish. I think a few guys shot at Parisians scaling the Eiffel tower to remove the Nazi flag and that was about it.
there were street battles, in fact it took several days before the germans gave up Paris to the allies. In which case you are incorrect.

There was no allied forces to liberate Paris. Apart from the people's uprising, a french force of the 2nd armored division of general Leclerc (2eme DB) was the first army to come to back the resistance. To be precise, the first troops were those of the ninth company also called nueve cause 80% where spanish republicans members of french free army.
The only reason why it was like that, was because De Gaulle begged the allies to be the first one in Paris. He got there first yes, but didn't do the work
@@noveseth2863 you are right that de Gaulle "begged" but in the end, no allied forces other than french and spanish fought in the battle to liberate Paris. Moreover, a big part of the job was done by the organized resistance and the parisians who joined at that moment.
Who had the absurd idea to put the purpose of this particular travel in a passport, let alone one that was supposedly issued four years prior to the events? I mean, that's not even historical inaccuracy, that's just dumb.
