The journalistic profession isn't what it used to be. It has been an elitist profession but it has become the most dishonest profession of all aside from the professions of politicians and lawyers. Even the anti-establishment journalists tend to lie and to be very biased because they themselves don't care for the truth anymore. Truth has been cast away from the profession. It's all about stories and making money.

It makes them squirm. I don't understand why. They aren't responsible but it seems like they want cover up the sins of their ancestors which are many. I noticed how the media has plenty of time to cover BS topics such as what kind of dress Kate Middleton was wearing or about Kim Kardashian. It's ridiculous and those of us with a brain get it. It's all orchestrated to distract from the cold hard realities set forth.

Mo has Africacentric views, Tim Eurocentric, thats a given fact. It also affects how Mo is wrong about some things that has happened in EU, for example of course EU will take care of EU people first, just like African would take care of African first. Also Greece financial crisis wasn't immidiately sorted out, many EU countries had to give financial aid to Greece, and multiple times and it took years, think my country gave Greece financial aid 2 times, the money didn't just pop into existence. Greece got also quite a bit criticism from this and they also had huge internal crisis because of this. Thankfully Greece sorted this out with the aid as far as I am aware.
But again Greece is in EU and its part of EU internal politics, African continent is part of EU foreign politics. It's same as if say Ethiopia is in financial crisis and rest of African Union came to its aid.

The political adage for Africans to debunk the socio philosophy of euro-centric minds. Africa would requires a revolution to remove the illegitimacy of euro centrism, and begin a new dawn of African perspectives.

Biden said he will make Saudi a pariah state. This comming from a guy that voted in favor of the war in Iraq when he was a Senator, now he wants to preach to others. I don't see anybody in the USA or the West confronting him about his obvious hypocricy. How can the Democrats even allow such a guy to run for president? When are the USA going to show us the weapons of mass destruction or pay reparations for the killing of Iraqis and destruction of their country? Will the West ever have that conversation? Was there any discussion of possibly charging Bush and Blair with War Crimes?
The worst is when gas prices exploded in Bidens USA thanks to his anti energy stance he ran back to Saudi begging the very nation he threatened. The arrogance of Biden and the USA is beyond believe or comprehension.
During Covid-19, Biden put a travel ban on the Southern African region because South Africa identified Omicron. The whole world followed his lead. Two weeks later the UK had ten times the daily infections of Omicron that Southern Africa states had. Guess what, no travel ban was placed on the white UK but Biden kept the travel ban on Southern African nations.

It is about time to highlight your double standards as well. You want companies to share with you intellectual property, which someone had to work their butt off to develop those vaccines, yet you don't share natural resources that just happened to drop inside your borders. There are a bunch of countries in the middle east and Africa whose economies rely on exporting natural resources like oil and gas. We're paying them for something they didn't make, yet you think you have the right to demand something someone had to work very hard for. The northern economies make a living out of innovation, and you do not have the right to take the fruits of their work away from them, because that is all they have left. And if you do so, there is no point in doing research if they're not going to benefit from it. If they benefit from it the exact same way as you do, then there is no point in working if they can just ask others to give a part of their own.

18:49 Excellent points on why Africa and the Global South have been guarded in their response to Ukraine and resistant to support one side or the other. Tim just fails to see any hypocrisy in western actions as a reasons for not supporting Ukraine. Get a clue and let go of some of that self-righteousness, Tim.

Please explain this to me because it sounded like he says that African countries were hesitant to condemn russian aggression on Ukraine because America attacked Iraq. I'm Eastern European, I live with russia around the corner and I know history of my nation that had to protect itself against russia for centuries. Why Africans are talking about USA when russia is killing us, Eastern Europeans? Why we have to pay with lives for wrongdoing of USA? Why so many people act and talk as if USA is the most important country in the world and they will pretend that no big deal is happening in spite of USA?
Frankly it's really painful to watch Africans and Indians normal people cheering up russian murders and rapes and kidnaping of children.

What an insult to equate the geopolitical struggles in Ukraine between America and Russia with the atrocities committed against the continent of Africa. And categorizing it as a pay back for not supporting America geopolitical gamble in Ukraine, is a dishonest analogy.
In essence, diminishing one of the world worst greatest inhumanity events ever carried out by mankind.
The reckless disregard for human dignity and the scramble for Africa, motivated by free resources and dominance.
Greatly buffered coming from a man who I profoundly admired for his hard talk program in the BBC.
But relatively sad by his not questioning the underlying issues that led to the war in Ukraine, and for not advocating peaceful solutions to the conflict. Which is a silent taboo and against freedom of expression.
An important tenet in the democratic principles.
