small tip, not compulsory but for a lot of music composers they tend to introduce things every 4 bars, you can use notes that lead up into the change as well.

This OST as an example if you count in 4 crochets and 4 bars so like "1 2 3 4 2 2 3 4 3 2 3 4 4 2 3 4" and repeat that, you'll see when they add something new its every 4 bars.
I'm not the best at explaining but I hope that makes sense
OBVIOUSLY you don't have to do this if you are trying to aim for something else, but just in case you didn't know.
