In my opinion CL-40 is A-Tier because it can be really effective against whole teams especially with a jump pad. However as you said, it isn't strong in direct 1v1s
I think people are sleeping on the R. 357. It's easier to aim, it's accurate, it has high damage, and it melts tanks like you would not believe. It's firing speed is low so close quarters combat is more difficult but not to bad, but it's accurate enough to were you can easily duel an SR-84 at range If you need to.
I belive that the sheild has masive potental in the game Only the guardian turret realy works well with it. I belive the had a more offencive spealization than suport Or give it a lunge ability built into it Becouse the main problem see is getting up close The only way i solved that problem was by playing around corners and runung sideways to block a good but of my hitbox
So if its not an automatic gun, its bad. I'm sure that with time, players will come out of this call of duty mindset and have a more creative oulook on loadouts.
You need to look into riot shield again. Riot shield is easily a B tier weapon. When used by a competent teammate, the riot shield can increase survivability DRASTICALLY. Even blocking rpg shots STRAIGHT UP
m11 is actually insane. it has the same dropoff dmg as xp54, the only difference is m11 recoil is harder but manageable if u learn it. u can still one clip medium at 40m. though i think the advantage of xp54 is if u max range stun gun and hit only headshots, m11 cant really do that

If you know how you block tasers, RPG's, C4 Barrrels, and can easily 1v2 or even 3 (not lights with dash tho, teammates gotta help you with them) Heavies with Sledgehammer or Flamethrower are hard too, teammates gotta focus the down. You effectively run down 2 of 3 playes while your team can clean them up since all attention is on you. There is a sweet spot where you block 90% of all shots and if you position well the enemies have no chance.

I'm a big V9S lover but i don't think its on the same level as xp or lh1. LH1 has higher dps, and much better range, pistol does slightly beat it out at close range. XP feels much better at range than the pistol as well (though for me that may be largely the sight). It can beat them both at close range but it imo is less consistent than the xp and takes significantly more shots than the lh1

The burst damage is great for peeking corners. Sonar makes it even easier.

ngl sword is b tier. def the best melee weapon and the sword tech isnt too hard to learn. check out vain for some crazy sword gameplay.

w/ emote cancel the ttk for sword for medium is faster than fcar ttk and superdashing gives you the fastest movement in the game
