Well another job completed Simon. Hard to keep up with the grass with rain constantly. Was calling for a few hour shower today but then changed to 0% chance so decided not to put fertilizer on pumpkin plants. Hope your all 3 doing well. Thanks for sharing. Be safe and have a great rest of your week. Thanks Hello Sara 👋
The grass grows like..well.. weeds up here too... Mowed it last saturday, and today it was almost to much for the mower even at the highest setting. Anyhoo... tomorrow my wife and I are going on a little trip, a short holiday with some friends. All the best to you and yours☺
Howdy Simon- it’s the time of year for grass cutting and hay. Everyone around here has been in the hayfields for several weeks now. Hopefully , we can get some rain through the summer for a second cutting. Was going to bail hay here this week but the holiday took care of that. Having a friend do it this year that my older brother helps out. So nice to have friends who are willing to help each other. Anyway, the yard around the theater looks really nice after the haircut. Take care my friend and stay safe. God bless
I hope you have had dryer weather Paul, there is no way our hay has been bailed dry. I am sure a second cut will be good but it needs to be dryed for fear it will all be useless come the end of winter. I will try now to keep on top of the grass there I have had a very busy few weeks. Huge video's coming! Be well my friend.
The soil there is fantastic nice beautiful lush green grass a long with some weeds mixed in looks good👍💪. All of our marshmallow hay bales are normally wrapped in white
I was also used to white, some are but we also have pink and blue. Not sure but think they use different colors depending of which cut and dry or wet cuts. Maybe.
@@arctic-rebel yeah that makes sense.. probably ones that are for betting or what we call here silage bales that are fresh cut no drying chop it and then bail it. I'm sure the colored plastic cost a little bit more though
Maybe someone to do the well work, but I also enjoy that. Soon be winter and I can rest LOL No. Hope your all good in the sunny south. Be well my friend.
Its amazing for as cold as it is there in winter that anything would be green & grows. Do the blades on the mower run all the time ? Seen them spinning when being unloaded & loaded?
The 24 hours of sun means everything grows really fast for a short time in the summer. Yes when I disengage the blades they still run slowly because the belt is to small. If I use the correct size belt it slips with long wet grass so it is a balance of good and bad.

Is that the way you sharpen the blades: Riding off and on the trailer with turning blades? ;)
I wish it was not true, but you can see for yourself now.
