Chlorine TABLETS vs Chlorine GRANULES Which is BEST?

Ease of Use: Chlorine tablets are the most common type of chlorine and are easy to use, they also last for longer
Ease of Control: Chlorine granules are about the same cost but require more maintenance
I was tired of using chlorine granules daily for hot tub maintenance, someone mentioned chlorine tablets. It was a game changer! With a floating dispenser for the tablets, I shocked the tub first with the granules, then added 3 tablets to the float. Voilà! Enjoy 3-4 days of hot tub care.

Hello, Sorry I am late to party, I am using the same Chlorine tablets as yourself and following the same weekly maintenance, sanitising, balancing water etc. I am finding that 2-3 times a week my Ph is low 6.8 Low, even if the hot tub has had minimal to no use. The only thing I can think of which could be causing this is the tablets? The Chlorine I shock I do weekly keeps the water clean. Its driving me insane any tips would be really apricated :)

@@CloughReviews thanks for the reply, do you always make sure you have at least 1 tablet in your dispenser? I add one which keeps the level good, then replace when it’s gone normally about after 5 days. Do you also only shock your hot tub if your chlorine level is low? With how I’m using the tablets ( making sure it’s always stable. I don’t know if shocking it too once a week is too much)
