Hello buddy, when you use you go 3 and stick on your planes, can you link GPS and put telemetry layers to your videos? Or is that only on the Insta 360 X3 model.... Love your vids ❤ great channel.
With a good sensor, the difference between 2k and 4k is almost negligible. Take the Viofo dashcams a119 mini 2 and a139 pro. 2k and 4k resolution respectably, but in quality comparisons, they're hard to tell apart. The Go 3 is 2.7K which for most purposes is more than good enough. High bitrate and good compression make video look good.
This would be great on MTB for getting a rear facing perspective sometimes. A remote monitor is a game changer for that kind of thing where you can't see how it is lined up!
Now, I remember older stuff by Insta360 had overheating problems. I'm hoping those days are over. I'm really interested in this camera for all kinds of stuff.
I got this recently. Question, which mode is best to shoot travel video in if I know there will be times I want to zoom in on objects using the software.
Great video with LOTS of information. Can you please try to attach it to a micro whoop (Mobula 7 or 8 perhaps) to see whether they can lift the additional weight of this new unit compared to the Go 2? Much thanks!
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 Excellent idea, except that I'm new to the sport and don't yet have a quad. I'm looking for a lightweight micro that (preferably) can lift a Go 3 to do cinematic shots. The whole time watching, I kept thinking of the DJI Action 2 and it just confirms my theory that insta 360 was very inspired my the action 2. I see it’s potential but without proper recording settings like 4k and high frame rates, it’s not for me. Great video though!
The ability to stream the view from the camera to the pod is genius. 4K exists in post production. 4 X 3 exists in post production. This is by far the most popular mini camera this year... you will hear about it for the next six months, constantly, from all the UA-cam camera guys.
Why exactly you need 4k on such a camera ? 😂 no really it isn't meant to replace proper camera. So in on free frame mode 1440p is enough since this camera mainly will be used only for videos for social media keeping in mind all that compression made after uploading 4k makes no sense. This is how products are launched. Have you not seen DJI, Apple, Samsung launches???
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 I don't buy Apple, Samsung or DJI, so no. All my subs are drone (your my only drone sub that likes DJI), hiking, paddling and other action sports. One of my subs got sent 3 of them and specifically stated it was a promotional video... you didn't answer my question.
I'm not trying to be mean... I just want to know if this thing is good, or their marketing budget is astronomical.
@@cgmiller82 Yes, this is very common. GoPro and every big drone company does it as well. They send reviewers the product well ahead of launch and then tell everyone not to speak of the product, nor show photos of it prior to the launch. Everyone in the "social media" business knows the rules, hence we all stay quiet until launch day. We test and show what we are provided and what you see in every video are honest opinions/reviews.
No 4K, no 4x3, no SD card. Even a cheap Runcam Thumb is 4K. I was expecting more. 😢
4K exists in post production. 4 X 3 exists in post production. This is by far the most popular mini camera this year... you will hear about it for the next six months, constantly, from all the UA-cam camera guys.
It’s an excellent upgrade from the Go 2
4K isn't everything. Bitrate and compression matter more. But, thanks for the product mention, might be good to look into for something far cheaper.
Who needs 4K when there’s ProRes export format 😍
Why exactly you need 4k on such a camera ? 😂 no really it isn't meant to replace proper camera. So in on free frame mode 1440p is enough since this camera mainly will be used only for videos for social media keeping in mind all that compression made after uploading 4k makes no sense.
Another thing is that 4k videos takes a lot of space and files can be transfered only via wifi... it seems that you don't understand the purpose of the product
