Q: Where are you from?
A: I was born in Pakistan but then moved to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia when I was only 9 months old. Have been raised and lived there all my pre-married life.
Q:Why do you mention Sweden in your videos?
A: I moved to Sweden after marriage. Lived there for 7 years, then moved back to Saudi Arabia in 2018.
Q: What is your education?
A: I have done a four year honours program in Information Technology and Computing.
Q: Who’s in your family?
A: I have been married to Naveed for 7 years. We have two sons - Yahya is 4 and baby Ziyad is 1 year old.
Q: Why are you Homeschooling him?
A: In general, I am not satisfied with the quality of education in schools. But also, our local school's system (we have only one or two international schools in our city) is not satisfactory. We are aiming to homeschool till 6 years of age for now.

I haven't used or reserached on it! But we did use "reading eggs" app and that was a good one. I have also heard my friends in Sweden using Khan academy :)
Sara, Arabic and urdu alphabets are quite similar na.. How do you teach the child? How will they know the differences? When do you teach urdu and when Arabic???
My friends with experience have suggested to start with Urdu first. Then Arabic is easier to learn. I don't know. I am experimenting that. Each child learns differently. Will see :) Hope this helps! xx

Ak chez ap se pochni k skip counting kyse start krni. I have read to first introduce skip counting by 10 then by 2 , what do u suggest?
Skip Counting by 10's first. Sing a song and make you child memorize it. Do tell them that we are going to do Skip counting by 10s

WalaikumAssalam Maryam. Alhamdulillah!
I am using the Canon's cheapest Printer. Pixma series. It's ink is actually more expensive than the printer itself. So it's not very economical. But I don't print a lot now...It has been good for us so far. In future if I ever felt the need, will go for laser Printers.

Asa is it possible that I do all the 3 subjects in one day like in English A with its activities for 20 mins then Maths number 1 with its activities for 20 mins and then Urdu alif and it’s activities for 20 mins
WalaikumAssalam! Definitely, it's possible. But it is best to give a 30 min-1hr break between each subject.

Ws! What kinds of books are you looking for! For curriculums check Kifayat Books. I've made review videos. Available on daraz!
In general, make a habit of visiting bookshops, tasalli sy books khol khol kay dekha karay. Don't hesitate to try books. And also don't force books on kids. If you buy a book, give it some time! Agar baccha nahi interest leyta then you'll start getting an idea kay bacchay ko kis tarah ki books mey interest hota!

Es k ilawah books shelf app agar banwa lein toh woh bhi best ha. Your things will be much organized. Also carpeting is a good investment for the play room. Otherwise centre carpet bhi bara sa ley sakti agar full carpeting nahi karwani.
Baki sab cheezein toh hamari wohi same Saudia wali hain. Sab cargo karwa lee thee :)

Oh, I just saw this reply today! So did you spend it somewhere then? Simple economical Chair table banwa lein. Baki carpet sy bohat fark parta. Ek rug dalwa lein. Baray bhi bachho k sath araam sy neechay beth k kheyl leytey ya activities karwa leytey. Aur ek shelf banwa sakay toh banwa lein. Hamari bari ha toh 18K ki thi. Ap 9 ya 12 khaano wali choti banwa lein. Cheezein organize ho jati toh homeschooling mey kafi asaani ho jati :)
