The activities I do for writing in general are the same. We give a whole week to one letter or number. So for example starting with A First 3 days we will practice writing A in sand/salt tray etc. 4tg day I will make an A on a paper and give Yahya stickers and show him the right direction to stick on A 4th and 5th day we will practice A on white or black board Then 6th day and onwards we write it on paper either with dots or without dots. Depends how the child likes it. Same strategies for Numbers or Urdu letters etc. You can always google "formation activities" for numbers or letters :) Hope this helps! xx

It's better to take it slow. There's a whole research on the topic. Do read on it. We started properly at 4. Yahya didn't even enjoy holding colour pencils before that. He hated coloring. I never forced him. Suddenly after he turned 4 he started showing interest. That is when we started writing :)
