Have you all ever looked into an international bank account with no ATM charges around the world? Like Charles Shwab is the one I've seen a few travel vloggers talking about.
Aruba is indeed quite different on the turist they cater. Eagle beach is one of most popular beaches in Aruba with the big resorts and casinos. Just off Eagle beach there is a wreck quite shallow that can be seen snorkling, the Antilla. It was the first wreck I scuba dived with my daughter when she was 15 yo. Btw the aircraft is a DHC-6 Twin Otter, a very reliable short take off and landing turbo prop. It is used on the airports with short runways. Back in the 90's I was a structures engineer in charge of some aircraft types and DHC-6 was one of them. In 1994 I had to go to an island in Africa to repair a -6 that had a landing accident. Good memories of the old Twin Otter.
Aruba we’re supposed to go there last year. One destination of our Caribbean cruise itinerary. All booked but the freaken COVID virus stopped us. Thanks to you both for taking me there by just watching you’re video. Keep it up and take an extra care.
Gotta be careful on the side walks because... we don't use them. Too hot to go walking, and too many loose dogs. And our currency is called the Florin. Guilder is more of a hold over from when we were part of the Nerderlandse Antillen
ARUBA IS A WONDERFUL ISLAND....my favorite go to spot. You guys will love it. Stayed in Eagle Beach at my favorite spot Aruba Eagle Beach Resort. A huge grocery market is right behind it making it convenient to buy and cook food.i can never say enough about this ISLAND. I simply love it... great weather, beautiful people, and the beaches are on another level.... hope you guys enjoy.
Hi, Hello and Greetings from Trinidad and Tobago( located in the same part of the Caribbean as Aruba, Curacao and Bonaire). I really enjoyed your Curacao videos, and was really glad to hear that you were heading to Aruba next. I have made six visits to Aruba, where the first five visits involved connecting through Curacao, the last time I connected through Curacao was back in 2016 when they were vetting ready to make changes and upgrades to the airport( my last trip to Aruba was back in 2018, and I had to connect by way of Panama). I really miss that airport. On one occasion I had an exceptionally long layover on Curacao( 12hours p!us) so a friend of a friend met me at the airport and took me on a tour of the capital and a few other parts of the island. Good way to pass the time during my long layover. Thanks for including footage from your flight with Divi Divi Airlines, wow that was a small aircraft. Guess I might be flying with them when next I connect through Curacao to Aruba. The view of the approach to the island was amazing. Aruba's local currency is called the Florin, however due to the large numbers of visitors from the States, the US Dollar is accepted(and in some cases is more preferred) everywhere on Aruba. Hopefully you can make it out other popular beaches on the island such as Palm Beach, and Arashi beach which you can get to by bus. And Baby beach which is located in the Southern part of the island. You may want to rent a car if you plan to go there. Luckily there is a car rental not to far from where you're staying. Enjoy your stay. Looking forward to the following videos.
Love watching your guys journey everywhere. I especially love this video for the footage of a place we own a couple of units. The spot you flew drone over and walked passed(fancy hotel) is actually a timeshare community called Costa Linda. It's an amazing place. You can go up to there bar even as a passerby. 2 for 1 drinks multiple times per day!! I do agree that Aruba has more tourists and Americans.
Beauty of a intro……… I really loved it here and I was only there for 10 hours…… be sure to get out on the other side of the island 🏝 and explore the desert 🌵 landscape…. maybe by ATV or off road vehicle…… depalm tours is great if needing some help!! Looking forward to the next update, stay safe!!
*I have been your subscriber since you started vlogging in the Philippines* 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭 *This ARUBA vlog brings back lots of pleasant memories of my vacation there with my wife in 2015* *I have posted amateur vlogs but yours are really AWESOME!* *Greetings from California!* 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I just love your videos and your channel as a whole Carole and Chris! First of all you always choose destinations that are on my list. It’s almost like you are reading my mind! I’ve been planning to go to curaçao and Aruba for several years now so I’m lucky I get a preview from your videos. I planned my stay in Isla Blanca and La Paz thanks to your video and both incredible stays. Secondly your filming is amazing! Good quality. You capture the Colors and the feel of each places so well. Lastly I love watching you as a couple and how you Interac with each other. You both have this soothing calming energy and you relate to each other with so much respect and maturity. Amazing beaches, thanks for taking us along and hope your foot is better Carole ☺️
Aruba is my favorite Island is the Caribbean. Great food and nightlife. Casino’s are great as well. Definitely drink a "Aruba Ariba" Aruban mixed drink.✌️
Great video as usual. We’ve been to Aruba on a cruise stop. Best beach ever. Your videos are very enjoyable and well produced. Our future retirement intention is to retire in central or South America. Be safe and well. 😃
Hi u guys thanks for the beautiful video! Take care of ur foot Carol , u certainly don’t want it to get infected, stay safe always! And enjoy ur stay in Aruba !!🙏♥️🌹
Just a friendly tip/reminder, now that you're traveling in that part of the world, try to switch your camera settings from PAL to NTSC or vice versa to avoid those flickering lights when recording indoor or closed areas. Thumbs up as always
I'd hope you get to the hotel zone and show us the casinos. It's been 45 years since I was on n Aruba. was quite a happening place... But that was when Venezuela was wealthy country. They'd come over to Aruba for the casinos. Short flight from Caracas.
I hope you guys went to Baby Beach! Also go to Eagle beach right in front of Tara and Bucuti hotel its beautiful and public. And if you can afford it stay at that hotel its incredible.
OMG hope Carol is fine. That looks painful I will definitely faint whenever I see blood even the tiniest cut. Ok continue the video now. Oh water shoes guys please give it a try it's comfortable for walking protect your feet also you could swim with it better than flip flops.. hiking rocky beach etc and not as hot as wearing regular shoe & socks...
Hello again Compadres 🦁Chris and Carol🍎Been Watching you Guys,on your Journey around the Southern Carribean Paradisio. Can't Wait to See Ya in Martinique my Bucket list Pick🎆🎁🎈🎀🎖
Pre-Approved - covering the bases / thinking things through =s less waiting, wtg _ and $38 a night large, clean room - nice going as i would have thought there is a 1 in front of price / $138, but $38 and no complaints. . . :>/
The photography in your videos is outstanding. I notice that your videos are carefully composed and carefully edited with artistic skill, not just showing the big landscapes, but also taking time to capture the smaller things a traveller encounters on the journey-- the plants, animals and other curious things of interest.

My first impression is if Carol is even half as sweet, smart and beautiful as she appears on these videos you are one lucky guy.
He's definitely lucky.
They are both lucky to each other in short they are compatible.
@@assianilom6110 I’m changing “lucky” to fortunate.

Eagle Beach is one of Aruba's Best Beaches, I believe that most of the hotels are located on it like the Ritz Carlton and Marriott!!!
No .. that's on Palm beach. Eagle beach does not allow buildings higher than the surrounding trees.
Eagle beach is one of the best beach in Aruba, you have more : palm beach, arashi ,malmok , roger beach, baby beach.
