Hello Chris and Carol!! Nice video again but as you noticed without car it’s kind difficult to go to the best places in Aruba, i grab a jeep when i went there and go through the whole island, it’s pretty beautiful the beaches there and some desert style places have a lot of fun guys take care!!
I loved the colourful buildings in Oranjestad and the lovely Arashi beach,great drone shots of the beach too....thanks again for sharing Chris and Carol...all the best to you both. ❤
I liked the area with the nice villas and the quieter beach.The rocky bottom increases visibility so great for snorkeling.Lots of marine life- less of a tourist invasion! The center of town is obviously catering to cruise ship visitors and everything is probably open only when ship are in port.The arid desert terrain is interesting with that intense white sand abd turquoise water!
Interesting to compare this with some of the other travel videos about the island. Gabriel Traveler stopped at the same Peruvian restaurant I think and also mentioned how expensive it was.
Just started watching... the Intro: Wow! Very surreal. Disneyland on steroids.....color and architecture is intense.... 4:04 -> Nice moves Carol..... 12:05/12:16 -> ....the 'blue'...so beautiful....(very good music, makes the feet move) 15:34 -> Climb the volcano! Best part of the video? -> 18:45 ....teasing Carol with the plantain dessert. Aruba is very developed, caters(Zara/Kiehls) to 'high-end' tourism and is totally import dependent for everything but fish....getting accommodation at the price you mentioned is surprising.
I'll be visiting Aruba next March via cruise ship.This will be my 4th visit but rather than doing the ship's snorkeling excursions which only give an hour of snorkel time, I want to go on my own.I would like to visit the northwest beaches that you've shown in this video.Boca Catalina has been recomended by other channels so I want to head there by bus and possibly visit Malmok and Arashi as well.I will definitely visit that restaurant for a $7.00 Veggie Burger.Thanks for this awesome video that shows me what to expect.
I was impressed with the desert environment when we were there some years ago. If you continue north, winds and surf increase dramatically along with the rocky shoreline. Also developement decreases. Looking forward to ur updated pics and video:).
Flamingo beach is a beautiful, isolated beach, part clothing optional. Also I took a half day jeep safari tour, where I drove myself in a caravan of others, to all the "must see" spots. Im waiting for you to see all the iguanas dangling from the trees. They are everywhere lol .I love seeing your beautiful footage and adventures 🎶🏝💜
@11:42 That sole Palm Tree situated on the beach is a very popular spot for photos. I love Arashi Beach but you definitely need a car to venture to it. Great drone shots as well. Did you have any difficulties with the wind?
💥Nice hot desert island!! Loved the town center with the really nice old buildings that had a great colonial look to them. Glad you both are having a great time. Loved the drone footage, very nice and enjoyable to see. The cost is way to expensive for food, but your right about it being imported. They need to plant some coconut palms for more shade for the tourists. Loved your outfit Carol, you looked amazing in it, and Chris my man, shorts and a tank top haha that's just you, like I dress in the summer. I liked the beach, but it was to loud with people and I like secluded locations. The other island had a really unique blue water that was so clear, I liked that island the best so far. Some state hoping for now, South Dakota, Wyoming, Colorado, in to weeks. Out of country . on hold due to political issues with travel and wanting to go to Cebu to see some friends and Lao to help with some villages on food relief. I did it this year and it was sad because I wanted to go, but the virus issue changes to much. I can go to lao now but it is rainy season and we can't get to the villages. I am still upset for the federal police in Mexico giving me the work over, but I want to go to Baja and see those cool oasis's you and Carol found, those were amazing, and I can visit where I grew up on the way there and I will just drive my SUV and bring camping gear. Hi guys.. yeah way more better if you book personaly rather than online booking, if you are saving money. And sometimes online booking is fully book but in the actual room availability there is available for walk ins. (For hotels and motels). Appartment or flats i dont have idea. Take care guys

One thing: when you say "sometimes talking to the owner it is cheaper than booking online"...SURE, I mean you are bypassing the 'broker'fee (airbnb or whatever it is)...during covid you can do it even if it is not totally fair to airbnb or whatever, but I understand since you guys are always on the road. Once covid is over (when?) you will have to book it right away..no time to walk around..
have been enjoying your videos from Curacao and now that you are on Aruba, would like to suggest two great food options - Zeerovers in Saveneta for seafood. Also, Chicken and Lobster in Noord, had amazing breakfast there a few years ago. I did an ATV tour on the rough side of the island and highly recommend that - if you like some adventure which It looks like you might. The rough side of the island is really interesting and average tourists would not even think about going there. Also, mount Hooiberg is worth doing, I'm into photography and found the view up there great. Are you guys going to do Bonaire too? Would like to see a video if you do, have not been there yet.

We have bin in Aruba and also Curacao and Bonaire. We understand what you tell about the differences. Have you bin to Bonaire? That is for us the mos beautiful and quiet island.

tough choice but overall we still preferred the little beaches with the cliffs in curacao but they are both spectacular. Aruba does have better softer white sand though and also way more beach area since it has many huge long beaches. Two incredible beach destinations!
I say Aruba because aruba have beautiful beach with allot white sandy beach , from palm beach till eagle beach you have a long strip of white sand so beautiful , and also arashi , baby beach, roger beach. I choose Aruba .

Yeah we were also very surprised they had accommodation that low right in the capital

In Aruba we have only public beaches. In Curaçao you have some private beaches. There u have to pay ..
