It is a true blessing to see you brother. I have taken a deer with both of my Trad bows this year and I credit you, Chris and Jeff Phillips for everything yall have taught me. Especially you! You have been and are a true blessing brother. God bless you and your family.
It's good to see you back in the woods, RC. That was a nasty storm. We got called out to Augusta to work the storm. The number of trees down was unbelievable.
Good to see you out. I often say I had a good hunt when I didn’t take an animal and people look at me funny. Lol. Just enjoy an exciting encounter. Good luck
I love watching your stuff. I'm at a point in my career that I'm trying to cut back and pick up hunting again. Took a doe a couple weeks ago with a crossbow, but really wanting to go more traditional again. I would love to see some footage of you showing how you process your kills. I have always done my own, not much with hogs, but we are getting a lot more in south-central Alabama.
Awesome to see your video Brother. Even in the turmoil of destruction, blessings are found! I am glad that you are focusing on what you still have and are able to hunt than the loss. A new season begins, we learn to adapt to the changes or get left behind. Many fail to see the blessings and what the future may have in spite of the destruction of the now. Yep, going to be a population explosion happen where it is a thicker mess and harder for most men to get in and hunt. The swamp will have a facelift of sorts and won't look the same as it once did but it will still be a swamp. Glad to see you out and about, so thankful that you and the Missus are okay. Be blessed my Brother
Oh Robert, I watched Chris' video you mentioned and was heartbroken. I have missed you, Chris, Jason, James Wood, and James from Hook N Hoof. I understand there are higher priorities right now than videos. Keeping you and all mentioned above in prayers. Stay safe, and God bless.
Good to see you are posting again after the storm. I noticed today that you must have been using a different quiver, once in a while I got a glimpse of your fletching and one shadow on the ground. What quiver did you carry today? It looks like you had a backpack also, but I don't think you carried a pack seat or anything. Please show us more views in the future showing what gear you are carrying on these walkabouts. We missed you, glad to see you are back hunting some, after the hurricane.
After the lengthy major floods we had during summer followed by hurricane Beryl. It is gut wrenching seeing so many old growth oaks and hickories blown over. Some 200+ years old. One silver lining at least is alot of these old trees were near the end of their life or at least near to about as much as there roots could handle down in the soggy bottoms. Im seeing some serious hard funnels! And trails. good bedding potential in the near future. Open canopy and new growth lots of woody browse.
Glad to see you are back and that there is hope for your hunting area in the future. One question, "Why are you limping now?" I did not notice that in earlier videos. I hope you get improvement there.
I have acres and acres of what was 70 year old plus timber over here near Swainsboro and it is all on the ground and mills don't want to take "damaged" timber.
@robertcarte95 Oh my bad. I'm a north Florida guy. Thought you were in or around perry. I enjoy you're hunting. Tending an old mamma with dementia, so I tag along with you. Thanks for sharinf
