Yep, I think it's somewhat because he isn't into the UK scene that much (at least for a couple of the songs) and the amount of references that he will have missed because he's not from the UK will likely take away from it but either way, it's really great to see Dave's popularity growing internationally and it's interesting to see what he thinks about it from a different perspective.

I PRAYED FOR THE DAY YOU MADE THIS VIDEO Edit: okay I’m kinda dissatisfied with this review and there’s a lot of this he doesn’t understand but that’s understandable because he’s not been following dave properly. The love songs are linking in to the girl in how I met my ex so it’s kinda like a prequel to the song and Lesley is the sequel to it. He’s speaking to a therapist because since Dave was just starting secondary school his brothers were in prison, most notably the middle child Christopher going into jail for murder in 2010 and psychodrama is a way of therapy where they act out the events of their past, which is why he’s telling the whole story of Lesley. People in therapy often tell the full story from the very very beginning and it intensified our relationship with Lesley in a sense which increases the impact. These are all the things he’s felt over the last year specifically but more broadly things he’s been dealing with through all his life. Also the reoccurring piano is because he taught himself to play piano since he was young partially because his brothers were creative people too I think Chris played piano actually. Damn I have been waiting for this thank you!
Was waiting on the beastcoast reaction but as I'm from the UK and a big fan of Dave i was pleasantly surprised to see this thanks for branching out to UK music
How is lesly not your favorite song lol
Disaster**
He literally said why
dsihduiak fasfd I know lol when I commented this I looked at the description and saw that it wasn’t on the favorite tracks but once I finished the video I understood why he didn’t like it as much as I did my bad
Honestly i love leslie but because the storytelling is so clear and plain it's not really worth that many listnens
Papianity CEO it’s not amazing it’s okay like tracks like 4 your eyez only, under pressure and sing about me are 10 times better.
I’m so glad you decided to react to this 🇬🇧🇬🇧
