@@HellstormWargamingat least you can look at it like this, you only have to paint another 4 boxes just like this to have a full 2000 points army, or you are already 20% of the way to a full army after all that work!
Necromunda has simultaneously some of the most boring 40k models I've seen since 1st ed (Orlock, Goliath) and some of the coolest looking models out of the whole setting (Spyrers). Their mech suits look significantly cooler than the average term armour, at least to me. @@ginjasteve4435
Fantastic results let alone for a speedpaint. The streaking grime removal advice and the warming the Dirty Down rust is absolute hobby gold. Thankyou so much.
They look really good, I usually paint an Imperial Knight in a day, or a pair of Armigers, I find it's all about the repetition, if its a new army I haven't painting before, it can take me 12 hours just doing test paints to find the best colours. .
Well done! This was an awesome video and yeah, it didn't quite fit into the 12 hour window but well worth the extra time. Still 16 hours...solid. It feels like a vindication over squadimar's attempt at a 12 hour Ork combat patrol. That was a little sad. Trophy painter vs an army painter.
Haven’t seen that one but I imagine their models look amazing compared… but for playing games I think there’s diminishing returns once you hit a certain point :)
Great work lad. They look proper tidy like you spent 5x the time on them. When you used the Streaking Grime, did you use any thinners on your make up sponges? I have found with washes made from oil paint it isn't required but I always have to add a bit of thinner when I try to remove enamels from Ammo MIG and AK.
I added a small Amount of thinner to the pot when I first applied it to thin it down, but otherwise no the sponges were dry when I took it off! Like I say in the video, dry it with a hair dryer for a bit, then wipe them off, the. Come back after they’ve properly Dried and it’ll be right
@@HellstormWargaming Champion, cheers mate. I'll have to give that a go. I use them for the intended streaking on scale models all fine but never quite got it right on my 40k stuff as an all over wash.
Can I ask why you (and everybody I've seen) puts their basing/textured paint down on the base after attaching the model? It just seems like it would be faster/easier to just slather it on first, and leave a tiny space for attachment.
"warhammer army" is really pushing it XD nice video, gorgeous paintjob!
400 whole ass points!
@@HellstormWargamingso less than a small 500 point army? Gotcha, nice ponies tho Mikey!

I wish I could make my models look this good in 16 hours
You can with mojo and confidence x
@@MercenaryQ you could make Necromunda models look this good just by opening the box

There is a saying out there when you are trying to speed paint. "If you can't do the time, don't do the grime."
I was ready to start typing a callout over the sponge tweasers and you got me.
😡😡😡
Don't usually hang out here for the painting, but these are really great!
appreciate it!
That's a superb video. Well done
Thank you! Very kind :)
Rageshade is class. Haven't used it on a bum yet tho
Would highly recommend good bum colour
My dude please be careful using with enamels/thinners. You don't want that stuff on your skin, actually you want to wear a respirator as well.

Thanks mate!
Nice one Mikey, your painting vids are always great little bits of content!
Thanks buddy, I like painting and sometimes I can teach someone something new, or make them laugh at a pink eye joke 😛
@@HellstormWargaming personally my big home is that Targor Rage shade is THE shade for bums.
I got snowed in with a hyper 6 year old and 2 year old. So jealous of your bad weather experience 😂 looking good though chief!
Bit of a different vibe 👀👀👀😂

You did a great job, giving yourself 12 hours was fuckin mental 🤣😅
These look great but god I'd hate painting those horses😂
Looks unreal mate!
I want to see more of your cat ^^
She’s always posing on stream
Nicely done 🎉
Thank you 😁
Are you including the 2 hrs of assembly in the final total of painting?!?
Yep!

its to give a good grip to the base so the model doesnt fall off

''Pretty new''?????? You do know that we have to wait for these boxes to come out still, right????
Why you using that terrible GW poly cement?
Isn’t all poly cement basically the same
@ No. Use the Japanese poly cement
chemically its the same though and i can get GW more places than Tamiya :P
