I've never heard the whistling but I've heard wood knocks and rock clacking late in the night but I've never seen anything. I've often felt like I was being watched sometimes during the day and sometimes during the night. We never had any problems. When I heard wood knocks and rock clacking there were no night sounds. I even called my brother one night in the winter because of the uneasy feeling. We walked all around my house with a shotgun. I actually accidentally fired a shot into the ground after that the uneasy feeling was gone. On different occasions I heard knocks on my door late at night and my Mom had the same experience with knocks late at night until one night she had walk next door to call my brother and he came out to my house and looked around and he found out that the phone lines had been cut. After that when working late I started calling home checking on my Mom and called her before I left for home. This was a great encounter tonight. Thank you for the encounters.

I don't mind listening to your rambling, lol. Wonderful story from my home state. Maine has far more encounter stories than are reported on. My mother saw UFO's when I was a kid back in the 60s. I did too, but when I tried to tell her about them, she kibda gaslighted me which was very frustrating of course. The thing was, I didn't know mom had seen them too until a year before she died. It was one early morning I came in to check on her and she was looking out the window and across the road up to the sky. I asked her what was so fascinating ?, lol. She said she saw a light orb raising steadily up and down in the sky over there a few minutes before I came in. She was still looking it for it to reappear. That's when she confided in me about such sightings down in Rockport where I was born. I could feel my anger a little bit because of the denial I encountered from her years before about my own sightings, and I asked why she did that. She said, back then, you would never be taken seriously again if you admitted to such a thing. I understood. For me ?, I don't give a damned what people "think." At any rate, me and mum were then able to share a lot of stories and I have had many different encounters and one is a Sasquatch encounter, not 20 minutes from where I am. Other encounters have nothing to do with Sasquatch. Miss my mum very much and she was by far the best, best cook ever. She passed in January 2007 of ALS.

Thanks Nance and James! ❤And to your question about hearing whistles from Sasquatch. I haven’t heard it myself but I have heard many encounters where witnesses reported hearing loud whistles in the woods. I can’t remember which Tribe discussed it but some Native Americans have said the Sasquatch makes that loud whistle from their throats, not their lips. That’s why it’s soooo loud, like a steam whistle.

  • @dartmart9263

    Whistles?
I’ve heard whistles and fake bird sounds coming from the woods, a lot more often than the whoops or screams or tree knocks.

I remember trying to tell my parents what I had seen; and, they laughed at me. Mom told me I was crazy; and, they would have me locked up with the other crazy people. They taught me not to talk and tell them what was happening to me. Some of the things I saw were caused by a medical condition (in my eyes) discovered when I was in my fifths. Not everything I viewed and experienced has ever been explained, after all these years. However, your story tellers have helped me understand that I am not alone. Thank you.

Hello Nance! And hello to all you, Sasquad!!! Wow, that was such an amazing story. You know that's why you've got to believe your children when they tell you something, no matter how ridiculous it may sound. Because it's always easier for us as parents to get over being lied to by your child, than us making them always feel some kinda way because of us never believing them and scolded them for bothering you and they were just being honest! That can cause a child to lie because they're never believed anyway and can causes more damage to the child than people think! I just always feel sad for the children. I'm sorry if I said too much. Just being honest. Thanks Nance, I loved it as always! 🙏 ❤🦍👣

The one time in my life I was really questioning my self and wondered if I would make it to see sundown few hours away was when I was in Southern Alaska in the fall in the middle be big like 8 foot berry bushes and my bush started to shake.... Lucky thing I was with a friend and he could see the back side of my bush, as I was asking who is here and no one other then him responded... We both had a air horn and was in the bottom of the valley, so at that time I was really thinking of giving my horn a good ole blast, giving my bucket with few gallons on berries in it the other direction so I could run up that hill as my life might depend on it....... Lucky thing he said he could see someone, but ya I was few seconds away from scampering for my life as I know bears are the most grumpy when they wake up and in fall when they eat all they can before hibernation, and I knew I was in there food clump so I did not want to scare/make one mad... The bad thing about if I would have ran up that hill for my life, was my friend had the keys to the truck... Sure I could have got in the truck but then would have to sit and twiddle my thumbs as he had the keys in his pocket.... That kind of setting really put's you in your place, and I would hate to run into a Bigfoot as I would not want to be placed next to something so much bigger/stronger and odds are faster then me...Now seeing a Bigfoot from a distance would be cool, but no where near the "big guy" LOL.....

I have a question for the sasquad, I have a very large wad of hair. That I believe is from our neighborhood sasquatch. We've been living, cohabitating together for the past 15 years. I've gifted to them, and they've gifted back, but I found this wad of hair in one of the spots. They like to bed down.I guess you can call it. Anyways, my question is, who would I speak to, to have these samples tested?I don't want to give all of the sample of hair just in case it's confiscated by the government or any of the alphabet crews, but I would love to have it tested so I could do my part in having them protected.

Strikes me there are two camps on this. There are the sort of people who see and interact with "Boogers", all their lives and think they are normal. And then the others who go to extremes to deny and/or cover up their existance. Surely its better to admit they exist and just get on with your own life. After all, we all know there are larger than us life forms, which if encountered, could rip us apart, but bears, wolves, lions, tigers, crocodiles, sharks if you include the seas, are all out there, but we just have to be sensible if we encounter one and then we all go on our own way. Basically, live and let live and on the whole, we will all get on by.
