Ability to decorate a room, when you leave the outpost the room gets cleared and saved. At any tavern you acan summon your room for a small fee of ~100 coins, it can include captain's table to decide on quests, and a bookshelf with slots to save voyages so that you can start them easier
I always wished they’d let you save an outfit that you have to, idk, the OUTFIT TAB? You throw together your pirate garb and then go to the outfit tab and hit save outfit, that’s it. I wished they added this because I hate having to go through all the menus to equip different things.
True, as we saw with the Cursed Sails update. What I am thinking is that some system where you have you sink different ships/players, maybe a cooldown is involved. I have many ideas for videos and suggestions for this game that I would love to dwell deeper into.
Change it from a money bounty to a rep bounty if a crew is running reapers and they hit grade 5 and continue to sink without turning in the flag you can sink them to earn rep for whatever emissary you're running. And to balance it out if you're the aggressor you can gain rep for reaching marks like sink 5/10/15 and you gain more and more rep the higher your sink count. If you don't run emissary the rep will go to hunters call since nobody levels that normally.
The way I saw bounties on players working was a system of accumulation. Killing a player would add a small amount of bounty to an individual pirate, but sinking a ship would add a larger bounty to everyone on the crew. And the way you would collect could be when you kill someone with a bounty, you can capture them and send them to your brig (Also giving the brig on a sloop an actual purpose). The difference between a brig'd crewmate and a brig'd enemy however is the enemy can break out. Like, they can pick the lock and it takes a few seconds, during this time, a crewmate can kick them off the picking, meaning you'd have to keep an eye on your potential capture, lest they break out and leap off the ship to their mermaid back onto their ship. And it also would make it more difficult to capture someone just to have the enemy crew man-down since you would need to spend time keeping them off the lock. Not only are you gonna have to keep your eyes on your prisoner, but it stands to reason that the crew you took him from are gonna want to rescue him and know where your ship is as long as you have him aboard. And getting tracked down also is dangerous because if they start shooting at you, naturally your prisoner can't be watched as easily. The goal would be to take it to some npc that would be added who pays for captured pirates, maybe they get sent to jail until their crew busts them out afterwards. And the suggestion you had also works, if they leave the server, the crew who captured him gets the bounty automatically, to prevent getting away with being a salty player. I think this would add a large dynamic to the game as players may team up to take you down if you're a bit too bloodthirsty. It could remain that perhaps the top 3 crews with the highest bounties show up near the Bounty npc and it updates anytime you're near an island. Maybe players can take this paper and add it to their quest wheel and it gives the details of each individual's bounty so they know who to target.
My idea is that you can choose different types of cups to put grog in. So instead of a mug you could have a chalice, a jug, a bottle, or even a bucket.
A gangplank would be nice, you roll up next to the main dock where the MA and Shipwright is and it’s like docking a rowboat to a ship, except ship to a pier and it ties the boat up and adds a gangplank from your ladder to the dock.
@@jackthedragonkiller5097 Like fr. Why can you not tie your ship up to the dock, I hate having to anchor because even when the sails up it’ll still slowly float away.
I think they should also add an option to not have a scope on the sniper rifle, grape shot, the option to make the grappling hooks swivel cannons, a bigger variety of weapons, the ability to invite and accept/decline alliances, rigging on the sides of the larger ships, and maybe even different styles of the 3 ship types like Nordic, greek, and roman.
To fix the no more space for instruments, make it so you can swap out these instruments sort of like how you can swap out weapons. Also, I think it would be cool to have crowded taverns, NPCs singing and conversing and drinking. They could also walk around the outpost, like villagers from Minecraft bu, y'know, pirates. It would add some much-needed human interaction, because when talking to NPCs... It currently doesn't FEEL like you're talking to them. In addition, add more to the map, make it bigger, and add large pirate towns that have harbors and houses with civilians and such. Next: make anchors visible from outside your ship. When you raise or drop your anchor, make it so it will actually drop and hit the bottom as a physical entity underneath the ship. Magbe enemy players could slice the rope of the anchor, breaking the capstan and making it so you have to tie them together again to fix.
I had an idea that i think is a bit cool idk. The idea would be that if your ship sinks and you play music on the sinking ship, your instrument would play "Nearer my god to thee"
I agree that being able to swing by on others boat would be great, in every pirate movie we see pirate do it. It would not destroy Sword dash boarding cause its way less stealthy, but it would be easier to do it...
I know they're talking about adding more boats and expanding the max crew limit, but tbh they don't need new boats for that. I think the current boats all need to have their max crew expanded. This way a ship can have a cook/fisherman, navigator, cannoneer, supplier, captain/helmsman, lookout, away party(1-4) all these designations could be on any ship, and true people can be them interchangeably, which means not every position needs an open crew slot. Honestly 2,3,4 slots for gunners/away team per ship tier, 1 for cook/fisherman, 1 for lookout/supplier, 1 for navigation/sails, 1 for captain/helmsman 1-6 slope 3-7 brig 4-8 galleon Now I understand this would drastically change pvp, but I think having more epic ship fights could be a lot more fun. This also would encourage more teamwork.
How to fix message in a bottle: Make it possible to burry treasure. The longer it stays in the ground, the more it would be wort (to a maximum of 10K after 10 SOT days). However, once you do a message in a bottle will randomly spawn somewhere on the map, and other people could find your treasure and dig it up. It would be like a gamble. To balance it out, maybe you could only dig empty chests and fill it with your own cahs, so its a high risk high reward thing.
The thing i hate about the loading screen is after you go through the door on the damned and you hear your ship burning and getting blown up, and you hear it but takes 5 mins to act
I think that they should add a 10s invincibility mechanic after respawning, its so frustating to get camped in a sloop when you have everything there but cant do anything because youre soloing and your ship is full of enemies, 10s at least would give you a chance to clear your ship

Someone said that you could exploit the bounty, and I thought, what if there was a pvp leaderboard type a deal? The higher you are, the more money people'd get from killing you. So if you're a pro pvp'er, other people would have a reason to fight you. But they would only be able to get 100% the first time they sink you, after that it gradually decreases until 0%. Then it'd build back up, 25% at a time, every 24 hours. I think it could wok
I love this game but I think there are some things that need to be added: Upgrades to weapons and ships (not cosmetic) Bigger boats or the ability to add more then 4 people on the gallion The ability to run while holding skulls or keys A ocean update were there would be more animals The ability to lock people not in your crew in the brig A harpoon in the back to help dock
I think we need some safe spots in game. It could be tavern and to avoid safe keeping treasures they can write some kind of code to not-put-in any kind of treasures or items. It can be annoying sometimes to spawn kill
I remember that glitch where you spam used the ladder and it would fully crash your game, it was the funniest thing to see people fall for it after you told them it would give them a free 1m
For instruments, eighter a new, bigger wheel specifically for instruments, or you need to equip an instrument like you would equip swords, pistols, etc etc
What are your thoughts on a handheld harpoon gun? It could grab or steal items from pirates hands, even kegs. A direct hit slows the pirate down momentarily. Enough shots can kill a skelly. Maybe it could be used like a chainshot in Zelda to zip your pirate away to a new location. Would create some interesting boarding scenarios.
I agree with the ropes idea. That would be cool. I do think they should add gambling or card playing and also the ability to punch. If your hands are empty I don't know why you can't throw your left or right hand in a punch. Seems basic.
Tried to get some newbies into the game tonight. Didn’t go well. They all canceled their game pass and won’t give the game another shot because of how crazy it is. 4 hours of gameplay with nothing to show of it. I’m used to it, and I knew when we were beat, but this game is becoming inhospitable to new players. I’m a legend, and if I see a vanilla ship with new players I’ll give them loot I don’t need and tips. If I’m feeling generous, I’ll offer an alliance to help them generate gold. Tonight though, we got hit at every turn, and with 3 newbies learning the ropes, they got a horrible first impression of the game. No Athena’s, just simple gold hoarders and walking them through how things work. It’s sad really, because we lost 3 potential players tonight. They won’t recommend it and will only have a bad experience to share.
Putting bounties on players would be SO COOL, me and my friends enjoy pissing off players and hunting them down for gold purposes, but if it actually became a quest thing it would be so cool
Bounty on players would suck, already tricky enough to survive on the ocean with other players, now imagine having an unwanted bounty on your head for merely sinking that one hostile sloop with nappy sails, trying to do other things and you get tailed by a fleet of galleons. It's like you have no chance of survival and may as well leave the server. Having bounties on certain ghost ships would be preferrable, now there is no incentive for a whole server to turn on a single player.
Forts at launch where definitely more exciting with much more pvp, but you can’t forget to mention how many times ships came back every single time, it got extremely annoying where people just never gave up and it was draining your supplies fast, forts where at it’s best during the shrouded spoils event.
I personally think that they should add a mermaid whistle or something to call your mermaid. Often times, when im sneaking onto an enemy ship it pops up in the most inconvenient places. I also have sunk countless times due to my mermaid popping up miles away from me. I'm pretty sure others like me can agree that this would be a great edition to the game.
i want them to fix adventure server, the moment you drop into a server if someone leaves that slot is not filled and you just vibing with 1 random ship around the map like zero pvp and bit more people in a server i would love that
i always thought it would be cool if they added a "royal navy" or something like that, that would be nps ships hunting the person that causes more problems. (by problems i mean attacking other players). Kinda like a police. Or just add them with an other purpose..
Wow, the bounty for players would be a nice idea. Imagine if you can pay more for the bounty for you own money just to see him die because you are tilted. Awesome.
#MakeGoldSandsBetter Srsly there is like one small island where you go to sell/buy everything. The other 4 jetties/3 islands make no sense and are really frustrating for new players since they have to sail around the entire outpost.
Don’t be talking that jazz boy! Golden sands has a ton of barrels on those other tiny islands. And at pretty much every outpost you’ll be sailing around it anyways
Instead of waiting for a mermaid to spawn, you should have a mermaid mirror or something, which returns you to your ship when you look in it. It would make it easier to get back to your ship, and you wouldn’t need to worry about the enemy ship seeing the mermaid spawn if you’re trying to sneak board. It would need to have a pretty long animation for it to make it so you can’t abuse it though. Also, you could have it so you can have other players look in it to go to your ship
I think it would be cool that you can walk on the harpune rope. For example you shoot a Ship with the harpune and the walk on the rope to Board them. For me thats netter than swinging yourself over. Bc when you walk on the rope its more challenging to Not get Hit.
while i agree that vote-kick isnt necessary, i still think it should be in the game. there are some situations where it would be helpful. for instance, i got that achievement for fishing all fish X amount of times. and we did end up with some assholes who just ate the rare fish to troll along the way. would have been nice to be able to kick them. yes, putting them in the jail cell helps but it also means you dont have a full crew anymore. while you could get a replacement after a kick. and i just dont see how that could be something difficult to program
Megalodons and Ghost Ships despawning mid-fight is hella annoying. They should not despawn if hit by a player in the last X amount of seconds. Seems like an easy fix but happens to me almost daily.
What if the quests were actually from the previous captains and there crew who sunk while doing the wuest for the merchants alliance it doesnt explain how theres a time limit or why they dont give it to us but its just a guess
I miss the day when i played sot i havent played it in so long or watched sea of theives so long i miss the original first year there was no crashing and crap like that i need to start playing this game again
A bounty system wouldnt really work as you are stuck in the same server with the same 4 ships you just killed to get to most wanted. there would have to be some system where once you become most wanted you merge into a new server.
The fiddle wheel spot issue could be solved by being able to switch out instruments like switching out weapons

What the fuck I come back to this channel from a couple months ago and his voice is deeper then the hole in my wall
The bounty idea should be with the reapers bones
I love this game but I think there are some things that need to be added:
Upgrades to weapons and ships (not cosmetic)
Bigger boats or the ability to add more then 4 people on the gallion
The ability to run while holding skulls or keys
A ocean update were there would be more animals
The ability to lock people not in your crew in the brig
A harpoon in the back to help dock
GeeNee! You are the most smartest pirate, I've ever seen in Sot. Keep up the the good work.
I think we need some safe spots in game. It could be tavern and to avoid safe keeping treasures they can write some kind of code to not-put-in any kind of treasures or items. It can be annoying sometimes to spawn kill
The mermaid piece had me DYING
Nice vid, some ideas I hadn’t thought of
I remember that glitch where you spam used the ladder and it would fully crash your game, it was the funniest thing to see people fall for it after you told them it would give them a free 1m
IMHO a great quality of life update would be to add customisable cosmetic sets. Even put it as a Pirate Legend perk if you like.
The beat idea i think is the bounty
I love this freaking channel
Seems basic.
did you know that the capstan on a sloop isnt centured
This guy has my respect a sea of theives video game dunkey
We made it to a full DS
Beautiful 👏
Man a bounty system for players (or ships I guess) would be cool
Wow 105k subs congrats man
the ladder one happens to me a lot
Putting bounties on players would be SO COOL, me and my friends enjoy pissing off players and hunting them down for gold purposes, but if it actually became a quest thing it would be so cool
i wish u uploaded more ? i enjoy watching your vids
it would be cool to have mini games on the ship, like tiddlywinks, and at outposts, you can play poker and gamble with money
the og vid is one of my favourits of your vids
also a singular skeleton shouldn't be able to cross map me from 200 feet in the middle of the ocean
The idea behind this bounty system is that if you don't sink anyone you would not be getting a bounty. Only he PvP hungry folk.
I think this guy is the only reason that I’m pirate legend
You can cancel sword’s dash
You have to shoot the Guy with a blunder on the sword before he dash
Forts at launch where definitely more exciting with much more pvp, but you can’t forget to mention how many times ships came back every single time, it got extremely annoying where people just never gave up and it was draining your supplies fast, forts where at it’s best during the shrouded spoils event.
I personally think that they should add a mermaid whistle or something to call your mermaid. Often times, when im sneaking onto an enemy ship it pops up in the most inconvenient places. I also have sunk countless times due to my mermaid popping up miles away from me. I'm pretty sure others like me can agree that this would be a great edition to the game.
Merry Christmas pixel
i want them to fix adventure server, the moment you drop into a server if someone leaves that slot is not filled and you just vibing with 1 random ship around the map like zero pvp and bit more people in a server i would love that
they need to make it so when you are looking at tattoos in the shop it doesnt auto spin
Or just let you rotate the camera by yourself, in all the different view windows.
i always thought it would be cool if they added a "royal navy" or something like that, that would be nps ships hunting the person that causes more problems. (by problems i mean attacking other players). Kinda like a police. Or just add them with an other purpose..
I want to be able to rebind the tab key to something else. And the hitreg/server tickrate feels awful.
All your videos are like my thoughts on screen
Wow, the bounty for players would be a nice idea. Imagine if you can pay more for the bounty for you own money just to see him die because you are tilted. Awesome.
#MakeGoldSandsBetter
Srsly there is like one small island where you go to sell/buy everything.
A Heroic vs Villainous rep on your Pirate .
I think it would be cool that you can walk on the harpune rope. For example you shoot a Ship with the harpune and the walk on the rope to Board them. For me thats netter than swinging yourself over. Bc when you walk on the rope its more challenging to Not get Hit.
i think there shoul be custom outfit slots, so you can save you different outfit sets
while i agree that vote-kick isnt necessary, i still think it should be in the game. there are some situations where it would be helpful. for instance, i got that achievement for fishing all fish X amount of times. and we did end up with some assholes who just ate the rare fish to troll along the way. would have been nice to be able to kick them. yes, putting them in the jail cell helps but it also means you dont have a full crew anymore. while you could get a replacement after a kick. and i just dont see how that could be something difficult to program
I understand your points, but i still really like the game. But with more of you maybe Rare will get things better. 🙂
I miss the day when i played sot i havent played it in so long or watched sea of theives so long i miss the original first year there was no crashing and crap like that i need to start playing this game again
It's hard to be late to your videos....
I mean I’d still like to be able to dual wield not that I have the game yet.
HE UPLOADED
Ngl think they should add a new trading company or something that rewards you for killing megs and krakens
A bounty system wouldnt really work as you are stuck in the same server with the same 4 ships you just killed to get to most wanted. there would have to be some system where once you become most wanted you merge into a new server.
