      There’s never been progress in the war against drugs! They just push the traffic to different groups and areas. Bolivia, Peru, Colombia, Then to Mexico, etc. It only gets worse. The drug trade cannot be stopped! Especially when the authorities give a free pass to operate without interference to certain organizations and drug cartels, as long as they give up information on other drug organizations.
      It’s recycling crime.

    So, now we have less "traditional" organized crime and have moved on to modern or alternative organized crime.

    • @electrolytics
      @electrolytics 2 роки тому

      We already treat it like a medical problem. We have been for years. That doesn't work either. Prison works just fine for these lowlifes. Drugs harm communities. That's a well documented fact.

    • @RustyAShackleford
      @RustyAShackleford Рік тому +1

      @Darkstar bullsh!t. Treating addiction as a disease DOES work. I used to have a serious drug habit and through medication and therapy and support from my family and peers I shook the habit completely. Been clean for years and years. Addicts aren't "lowlifes." You clearly have no idea how drugs can get a hold of you even from just using it one time. It's not just a "mental" thing you can just teach yourself to stop and that's it. You get physically ill, sicker than you've ever felt and the worst of it all is you KNOW what you need to cure the sickness. You think too highly of yourself, considering addicts "lowlifes" who belong in prison. You clearly have no experience or knowledge relating to addiction. And don't reply with some story about "my uncle/friend/brother/etc. was an addict and they did bad things and haven't gotten better" because that's not firsthand knowledge and even if you claim you "tried to help" you clearly had no idea what you were doing. There are tons of cheap and even free resources for addicts to utilize to get clean. Addiction is a disease and it CAN be successfully treated and even cured. Addiction is part of mental health treatment for a reason. Mentally ill ppl tend to self medicate and that leads to addiction eventually. Should people with depression or bipolar disorder or schizophrenia be locked away in a cell because they're sick? Unless an addict has committed a serious crime, they are not "lowlife scumbags." Your hostility towards addicts should be placed on the dealers, the government that allows drugs into our streets and into our communities. Addicts are at the bottom of the ladder.

      Yeah...none of these numbers add up. I think that undercover was skimming money and lying about the price per gram. 39 g's for over $8000 does not add up at all with the amount they were bringing in (over a billion dollars worth of smack) there's no way in hell they were letting grams go for that high especially if you were buying in bulk! Even though fentanyl is much more prevalent and cheaper to traffic and is stronger than the dope they were getting back then (even if they weren't cutting it) I've been told you can get a key for around $2500 to $3000 or slightly higher for H, much less for a key of fent!
