I'm in the middle of modifying one of these motors for my mm80 I'll be doing a stage 2 kit from a predator 79cc and removing the governor internally I sub to keep up with your progress
I got a ct100u for my grandson less than one year ago. The exhaust on his little bike has a rubber tube running back under the valve cover to what I believe to be a evaporation re-burning system. (maybe I got the California version)The one you are showing has that silver spark suppressor on it. Question is, what should I do with that hose? Weld a nipple on my brand new stainless steel header pipe?.
Most everyone that does performance add on parts eventually remove the EPA parts. Some of these engines come with a vent from the tank to a small charcoal box that holds fuel vapor and gets burned when the engine starts. Those parts get discarded when the stock air box is removed to install an air filter kit. What they end up with is an engine that vents both fuel vapor and crankcase blow by into the atmosphere. Even if you did weld a nipple onto the header pipe the system wouldn't work the same as it did with the stock muffler. The device on his muffler is an air valve that adds air to the exhaust. My guess is that there's something to adding shots of cool air into the exhaust pulses.

I was thinking of getting a 100U... I'm surprised at how good it accelerates! Sorry to get personal but may I ask your weight? Im 215lbs, I'm just worried it won't carry me?
no worries man! im 150 lbs but iv had friends who weigh 200+ ride it. id be more concerned about height i am 6’ tall and my knees are reallly close to the handlebars. overall great bike i use it to go around town and fish the ponds

So can they actually hold more then 150 pounds I want to buy one just didn’t since it says that it can only handle up to 150 I weight 180

Get a 100 swap it out wit a predator you’ll be set at 215
I'm 245 just got my coleman working everything stock and it picks up good with me on it, planning on doing throttle stop and governor deletion

with the governor it only does 18 but when i cut that governor off it does 30mph
