I have one 256g cellular model. Honestly it works great also got headphone jack, could not find any reason for upgrading. In my opinion this model is may be cheapest usuable ipad model in 2024. Below mini5, hard to use for now. One of my best purchase in apple products.
@@XXtheJUMPoffXX glad you enjoy them! For me it slowed down a little, but it is still usable and fun. Going strong since 2019. Glad its getting ipad os 18
I was thinking of getting it for flying and reading. I have an ipad 10 and macbook so i dont need anything special, just the form factor. The 6 is so much better but its almost too nice for what i need. thoughts?
I would look for used mini 6 tbh, as it is a muchhh better device and it has been out for quite some time. Mini 5 would be cool for some veryyy basic things and it wont be supported gor that long. Depends on a price
I am thinking of an ipad just for journaling. I am hesitant about buying the expensive ones, so either the mini 5, iPad 9 or the air 3. What do you think?
Depends which size you prefer. If you want the more of an iPad experience then iPad 9 is decent, since the chip in this is newer, and with older products it always matters more. If you can find this at a veryy low price, and dont mind a bit wirse screen, I would go for that one

I got mine '21. It's still working. I take notes, read and watch a lot of content. Thanks for the review. I won't upgrade for another year or so.
I’ve been using mine since Thursday and it’s great

Absolutely! Glad you enjoy it!

I'm considering one to replace my iPad mini 3 which was stolen from me
Not a bad option if you cant afford mini 6. Would still be a reasonable upgrade compared to mini 3
Steal it back.
I found an ipad mini 6 in a bag at yoga class lockerroom
