    The fact that Kobo UI is still better even without KoReader, sometimes way better than Kindles, just amazes me. For a naive person, Kobo is still miles better than any Kindle out there...
    The only feature I miss in Kobo Clara, is the rotation feature, which KoReader solves it anyways.

    If I buy a Palma Boox 2, and want to sync my kindle books from other kindle devices then I will have to read them in the kindle app. I cannot open them in the koreader on boox? Am I right? I would like to be able to read them using koreader on my boox

    • @svartling
      @svartling  24 дні тому

      You need to transfer them to KOReader first to be able to read them. Kindle books is drm protected so it need to be removed and converted to epub also.

      @limhamnsbtk you mean from the kindle app? No. But from where you have removed drm is probably Calibre and from Calibre you can transfer wirelessly to your Palma.

    My Clara 2e last for 40-50 reading hours when I set brightness to 15%. It would probably last 55-60 hours with brightness set to 0%. 9 hours reading time seems so low. Do you think it's because of KOReader? I want to install it but battery life is more important for me.

    The only issue i see is say you have 40 books in your kobo library, you got to add these 40 books to koreader, so not only dublicatung your books, butvtajing up 2x the memory of the device

    • @svartling
      @svartling  5 місяців тому +2

    • @dennisrogers6786
      @dennisrogers6786 5 місяців тому +1

      @svartling pity you could not flash the kobo reader to only have ko reader abd wipe the kobo interface As its still there taking up valuable memory. So not using the kobo interface is like having bloatware on your device. Wastes memory you cannot use, but taken up by an interface your not needing or use

    • @svartling
      @svartling  5 місяців тому

      Yeah but 16GB is more than enough for me so I don’t see that as a problem. KOReader didn’t take up much space.

    Hello there,
    Do you use the screen protector with you your e-readers? Or is this going to reduce the clarity of the screen and makes outside light reflected on the screen? What do you think?
    Thank you, for your videos

    • @svartling
      @svartling  9 місяців тому

      No I don’t use screen protectors and I don’t think you should either. As you said the display will then not be as crisp. And it’s quite unnecessary on an e-reader because the displays as plastic and not glass usually.

    • @svartling
      @svartling  9 місяців тому

      As I said in this video. The books are independent of each other so you can’t have the books in the same folder. KOReader needs to have the books in its own folder. So create a folder in the KOReader folder. Then put books there.

    • @jonasamna
      @jonasamna 9 місяців тому
