I'm 69 years old and have been a baseball fan from the early 60s. I've seen all of the great players of the last 50-60 years either on tv or in person and I've never seen anything like this guy. Just absolutely amazing to watch what he's doing.

The other day, Atlanta fans booed the Braves at home after they intentionally walked Ohtani. I think every sports fan appreciates how rare a player like this is. If he beat the Yankees 12-0 and drove in all the runs himself I’d still watch the replay over and over.

I combed through with a nit picker. Ruth never pitched a shut out then had a 2 hr game in the 2nd half of a double-header. Otahni is in a class of his own and I'm old enough to have seen Bob Feller pitch. Never seen a better all-round player. He's added a 6th tool nobody's ever even thought possible until now. He's stretching the boundaries of what's possible...and what will be expected in the future.
